Neither is better.

Mineral makeup may be better for those with very sensitive skin though, simply for the smaller ingredients list.

But some mineral makeup can clog your pores just as badly as any other cosmetic. The level of clogged pores depends on how your skin reacts to the ingredients and to the way the ingredients are used together, and how your skin reacts to that combination of ingredients. There are many liquids that will not clog your pores. You just have to find the one that works with your skin chemistry. So I heard that the mineral makeup is better then liquid makeup ';because it clogs the pores'; , is this true ?
when i turned 16 i got a sever case of acne and NOTHING helped. i tried everything. proactiv helped for about a month and it just came back. when i turned 18 my gma bought me bare minerals for christmas and my acne was gone in a month and didnt come back til i couldnt afford bare minerals anymore which was about just a month ago and now im 19 and my acnes gotten a bit worse. so based off of personal experience i would have to say bare minerals truly did not clog my pores and was worth every cent until i ran out of the cents
First, both has a chance of clogging your pores if:

1) you use cheap/lousy quality ones

2) you did not observe proper hygene (touching your face; not cleaning makeup off properly)

I use both. I always wear moisturizer and make-up base underneath. Also, I remove all traces of makeup every night. I never had pore-clogging problem.

By the way, I use liquid foundation from Clinque and Estee lauder. I use mineral from bare escentials. They are all fantastic.
No it is not true, liquid makeup often contains oils %26amp; mineral makeup doesn't, but mineral makeup contains other ingredients that can still clog pores.
No, that's just makeup hype. I tried mineral makeup %26amp; it was too dry and powdery looking for me, so I'm back to liquid. It just depends on your skin - some people swear by mineral makeup.
yes. its kind of obvious, liquid makeup can seep into your pores and get trapped there- while minerals will just stay on top.
I heard that too, but they're always making up sh*t to make you want their products, so you never know.
