Giving up on mineral makeup. Liquid foundations suggestions?

So I've decided that mineral makeup is making me break out and that an online article is saying that mineral makeup is not as pure as we think it is and the ';natural'; spf is not good for our skin. So I'm switching to liquid foundations.

Have you tried any liquid foundations that worked for you? Drugstore brand and/or department store brand? It'd be greatly appreciated.

My skin is normal to combination and the occasional few pimples when it is that time of the month. lol. Giving up on mineral makeup. Liquid foundations suggestions?
I am allergic to bismuth thats in some mineral makeups. My face would burn %26amp; itch %26amp; I'd break out. It took me awhile %26amp; I did some checking %26amp; found it was the bismuth.

If you like mineral makeup as much as I do you may want to try Physicians Formula foundation %26amp; see if it works for you. My younger sisters use it %26amp; theyve never had any problems. It doesnt cost a lot %26amp; PF has a wide range of cosmetics to choose from. Oh it was made by a doctor because his wife is allergic to most of the ingredients in makeups. Check their webpage to see whats available.

Otherwise I also like Clinique products. I visited Dillards %26amp; the beauty tech matched a foundation %26amp; blush according to my skin type %26amp; colors. It was a good experience because I got to try out Clinique %26amp; liked the coverage %26amp; my face didnt break out from it. Giving up on mineral makeup. Liquid foundations suggestions?
I used to stay away from foundation because I didn't want to mess up my skin but I recently started wearing Estee Lauder foundation. It's light, it lasts for up to 12 hours and most importantly it lets your skin breathe and doesn't cause breakouts. it's a bit pricey though, I think I got it for $30 but i'm sure it beats any drugstore/department brand.
I had the same experience with mineral makeup. Clinique is good for acne prone skin.
