Liquid Makeup Vs. Bare Minerals? (10 PTS)?

Okay, this question may be long so bare with me peoples [: Alright so im 13 and i already wear makeup (and please don't tell me im too young because i get that alot and i don't care!) I wear Cover girl True Blend Liquid Makeup, and i don't like it because, One: it dries to a cakey finish, Two: It makes my skin oily, Three: Its just plain terrible. So i wanna have more of a natural look, but not TOO natural. I wanna look like i have makeup on, but not too much. And i wanna look natural, but not so natural that it looks like i DONT have any on.

So i was thinking on buying some Bare Minerals Makeup because i heard its natural, lightweight, and it makes your skin non oily ! I also wanted to wear some peachy blush, do they make that in minerals too? Should i moisterize before i put my makeup on? And lastly :)What brand-name would be the best? (Please no MAC, i have had problems with them.) THANK YOU :)Liquid Makeup Vs. Bare Minerals? (10 PTS)?
first, it's great to hear of some one so young not wanting to wear too much makeup, to actually Want to look natural! I see so many girls who start out wearing SO much and it looks so silly!

second, i am a fan of loreal bare minerals makeup. it is wonderful. light, and natural. with it, you can look natural, and if you want a little extra something, add eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick...as for mosterizing, i always mosterize, but am much older than you, so that depends on your skin type. but, i put on moisterizer, wait a bit, then put the mineral makeup on. they do have peachy blush and all the colors you'd want.

hope this helps and have fun with it!Liquid Makeup Vs. Bare Minerals? (10 PTS)?
I think you should try the Maybelline Mineral Powder. It is realllyyy nice. i use it and i love it. It is not cakey like a lot of make-up but it has a nice finish to it so it looks natural but not too natural. They also sell blush in all different shades.

Here is a pic of it.. hope i could help!

Well, Bare Minerals has a point on the negative side for me because their lightest shade is too dark for me. It is lightweight, but I would recommend trying Physicians Formula Mineral Wear (the loose powder, the blush, and the finishing powder are all really good) before splurging on Bare Minerals.

If you want a liquid makeup, I like L'Oreal True Match and Maybelline Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Liquid Makeup.

I agree with you, CG TruBlend is disgusting. A friend of mine used the old formula on me and it was nice, though (it wasn't even my shade, and it looked good). Shame they changed it.
I LOVE Bare Minerals and have been using it since 2005. I've never had a problem with it and it doesn't look cakey at all.. it gives you a very flawless airbrushed kinda look.

For Blush... try NARS Orgasam. It's a very nice peachy pink color and was voted best blush by Sephoras and Allure magazine. Go to Makeupalley.com to see the reviews. Since you are so young I'd say stay away from liquid foundations if you can... Bare minerals is better for your skin and it will look more natural.

I always moisterize before I put on my makeup... helps set it better!!
Ok, Bare Minerals is very popular out there today. What you heard is true. But, if you're using liquid makeup, it tends to make your face oily. That's why most women use a powder on top of it. But, powders tend to feel heavy, or dry your face out, or make them look dry. So, I recommend you use Makeup Forever's (at Sephora.com) HD powder. It's a white powder, but its translucent, any skin tone can wear this. It's so light weight, it smokes up when you put your brush in it. Its really good. Feels so smooth on your face, doesn't look thick. And, its the only powder that can match your liquid makeup perfectly, so, no makeup lines. Its really worth the money. Yes, you should use some kind of moiserizer. It also helps keep your makeup on throughout the day.
