Do you apply liquid founation with your fingers or a makeup sponge?

i use my finger.. but i heard makeup wedges/sponges are better.Do you apply liquid founation with your fingers or a makeup sponge?
a makeup sponge is the one that your supposed to use.....the makeup sponge is better because it doesn't have a lot of bateria or little dirty stuff on your fingers....yeah :)

I use a damp make-up sponge and practically sponge paint sections of my face at a time
either just make sure your hands are clean, and change out your sponges and make up regularly
i always use a make-up sponge.
i like makeup sponges, but they absorb a lot of the product therefore you waste more of it, i don't really like using my fingers. you could even use a foundation brush. you will save so much foundation! :) target has some really cheap ones and theyre good too.
makeup sponge but make sure you wash it every few days...
As a professional make-up artist I should tell you that a foundation brush is best, but I go against the grain and still feel that your fingers will always be the best make-up tool you will ever have. Just make sure that you hands are clean and dry. You can use a sponge but you should use the disposable ones or replace it often.
sponge... if u use ur fingers it could have oil and dirt
i use my finger... hasn't done me any harm but i assume it's bad if you have dirty fingers, then again it's probably equally bad if your sponge is dirty. so i'd say either is fine as long as they're clean and germ free
i use my fingers, it blends better and it doesn't rub my skin so bad
u should always use the makeup sponge not your fingers
With clean fingers..you don't know how much bacteria is breeding within that makeup sponge...
A big makeup brush is even better than a sponge and a smaller size for targeting blemishes

Never ever use your finger for any type of make-up application or share it with anyone. Your hands including your fingers carry bacteria known as (microbes or germs). Therefore use makeup wedges or sponges and throw them out when you finish never wash them or keep them .....
Makeup sponges are better. They keep you from wiping the oil that is on your fingers onto your face.
I would use either a sponge or a foundation brush. The reasons why: both are much more sanitary (you can wash the brush %26amp; sponge or replace the sponge) and also you will use less product then using your finders. I like using a brush, it makes my foundation bottle last much longer and it gives my skin and airbrush natural look. Also, it is hard to blend well using your finders and you may have streaks...not pretty. You can find well priced foundation brushes at Target %26amp; Sephora or the one I have and love is by Mac but it is a little bit pricey at $30.00 but I have had it for almost four years and it still looks new. Just remember if you get a brush wash it with some mild face wash about every other day with lukewarm water. Good luck!!! Hope this helps.

you're supposed to use a sponge, but i use my fingers because i can apply it more evenly
