i recommend using liquid on top only. if you want to wear something on the bottom i would go with pencil. but to apply liquid eyeliner you need to close the eye you are about to apply it to and open the other one. you start at the inside of the eye and go outwards. if you do it slow it is easier. (shake up the tube before applying) then you need to wait like 2 or 3 minutes until you are positive it is dry. then you do it the other eye. it is fairly simple just dont rush it.
I would start with cake eyeliner before you move on to liquid.

first put your elbow on a hard surface and relax your hand gently on your upper cheek-then carefully start in the lower middle of your eyes and the liquid liner will do its thing. its best if your begin with short strokes.remember practice makes perfect!
um if you have never put on makeup before then you should master on putting on the pencil eyeliner..then it would be easier for you..%26lt;3
You just line your eyelids. I don't line my lower eyelids only upper. I don't care for smokin eyes.
if it's easier for you i would go with the felt tip eyeliner..
