Deffinately liquid/creme for the foundation and ALWAYS apply with a make up sponge or a small brush, it finishes much better. As far as eyeliner, use an angle brush and dark powder, follow the lashline just like any other eyeliner. When it comes to eye shadow if you use eye shadow brushes rather than sponge applicator things the makeup stays on longer and creates a more professional looking effect. Use a lip brush for the lips too, it helps plump them when apply lipgloss ( apply from the outside in)Liquid vs. non-liquid makeup -- which is better?
foundation...liquid has better coverage, but non liquid looks more natural. thats why i use mineral foundation.
eyeliner...liquid looks better, but pencil is easier to apply
I like non-liquid eyeliner because liquid eyeliner looks weird and it gets in your eyes.
I like liquid foundation because it lasts longer than powder foundation.
And I like liquid eye shadow because it also lasts longer.
Personally, I prefer non-liquid because it feels less cakey and doesn't look cheap.
With foundation, blush and eyeshadow, I like powder, though I do use cream eyeshadow sometimes. I ALWAYS use pencil eyeliner, my hands are much too shaky for liquid, and it looks too dramatic with all the other dramatic eye makeup I wear.
I love liquid eyeliner. it's so easy to put on and i think it looks really good on me. =P
I really dont prefer any liquid make-up. I have used it before and i just didn't like it. I dont like to feel make-up when i have it on i just wanna feel natural haha and when i have on liquid make-up it just doesn't feel as good as powders. plus i think powder looks more nautral too. but if you want a more dramatic look, i would go with liquid.
since I have oily skin, I prefer loose powder, it tends to absorb the excess oil from my face.
On eyeliners
I prefer liquid cause it dries and stays there, when I use pencil it tends to disappear
