What colors of makeup would look good on me? i have very pale skin and hate liquid eyeliner[ im in 6th grade]?

thanxxx soo much %26lt;3333333What colors of makeup would look good on me? i have very pale skin and hate liquid eyeliner[ im in 6th grade]?
6th grade? please. This is just.. sad. You don't need makeup in middle school. What colors of makeup would look good on me? i have very pale skin and hate liquid eyeliner[ im in 6th grade]?
Go to Sephora or MAC %26amp; have them give you a great look that will work for you.
well ur 2 yong to put make up ..i had the same problem trust me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree with everyone else..you're too young to wear makeup.

But if you insist. Try some nice mascara. To make your eyes look a little bit flirty. For those pimples..no powder. It'll make them even worse. Let them dry up and DON'T pick at them.

Hope I helped. And just because you got your period doesn't make any difference in people saying ';you're too young'; I got my period in 4th grade. Now that's ';too young';

:)
Well considering the fact that you are only in sixth grade try to go as natural as possible....... some light, earthy tones just might do the trick though. Good luck!
http://www.covergirl.com/registration/?r鈥?/a>

take that quiz.
Seriously, wait like another year before you start wearing make up, please . . . it's like the best advice I could offer you!
I never even considered wearing makeup in 6th grade. you have your entire life to wear it so wait like a year
Okay this isnt' the answer your looking for but just concider this please. Your to young, wait till you a teenager. Have fun with yourself because it's all going to change. i suggest using as little make up as possible maybe some clear lipgloss and mascara but other than that i don't 11 year olds should wear make up. people, especially adults won't take you seriously.
Hi Lola,

I do agree with the people above that you are probably so beautiful just the way you are. Don't feel like you need to wear makeup just to fit in. But since that wasn't your question...

It depends on what eye color you have too I think. I have pale blue grey eyes and fair skin and I find that most eye shadow look too heavy on me.

I think that really light pink/peachy shades look good, or even just a light foundation color on my lids brightens things up.

Also, since I'm in a vigilante mood right now... Lola, if you care about animal testing and want to prevent unnecessary animal suffering then check caringconsumer.com for their list of companies that do not test their products on animals. Good luck!
i would try some tinted moisturizer to help conceal the acne. i know how hard it is to try to cover embarrassing zits. i hate heavy foundation so i use bare escentuals which i love, but its probably out of your budget.

i also recommend you pick up a little palette of simple make up. like, something you can use on your lips AND cheeks.

dont wear too much, and just have fun. youre young, use make up to accentuate your beautiful features instead of covering anything! =]

  • What liquids and makeup can you bring on the air plane? (international flight)?

i am flying on friday and i wanted to know what the limitations are and what i can and cannot bring on the carry onWhat liquids and makeup can you bring on the air plane? (international flight)?
Any liquids but MUST be in the special ziplock bags that you can get from the stores. they are VERY small.......3-1-1 for carry-ons = 3 ounce bottle or less; 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin. One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring. 3 oz. container size is a security measure. What liquids and makeup can you bring on the air plane? (international flight)?
    Here you go!

Check everything that you don't need. Most drug stores like Sav-On or Rite aid have travel size toiletries. Use those and if they confiscate them no big deal. However; here is the rule.

3-1-1 for carry-ons = 3 ounce bottle or less; 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin. One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring. 3 oz. container size is a security measure.

Consolidate bottles into one bag and X-ray separately to speed screening.

Be prepared. Each time TSA searches a carry-on it slows down the line. Practicing 3-1-1 will ensure a faster and easier checkpoint experience.

3-1-1 is for short or long trips. If in doubt, put your liquids in checked luggage.

here is the web site if you need more info.

    http://www.badanco.com/carry-on.htm...

this web site is good. it has pictures and shows you how to pack etc,.
the best you can do is to put all your make-up on your luggage !

But if you need some you need to put them in a zip bag and very small quantity, one lipstick, no drink at all

At the airport they can give you the zip bag

you can check on the website of your company flight,

they have to give you all this information

I travel with Air France each time and you can find it on their website
You cannot take any bottles that are over 100ml - even if they are half filled bottles. They need to fit into a clear carrier bag (which is supplied) and I believe that the whole thing cannot be more that 1 litre.

It is best to take the absolute necessities on the plane - to be on the safe side.

    Have a great trip!

I have liquid, powder, and a combo of the 2 makeup....best way to apply?

Ok, I have been using CoverGirl makeup for the past two years because I like it the best. I have TruBlend Minerals (powder), 'Clean Makeup' (liquids), and Ultimate Finish (liquid powder). For the longest time I used just ultimate finish, because it provided a clean look. However, when I started breaking out more it didn't work as well, so over the summer I got TruBlend and started using that on top of the other. At first I got 420, but that was way too dark. Then I moved to 415. Then to 410. And finally to 405, the lightest it goes, even though it's still a little too dark. The two together work well too cover up blemishes, but it's very heavy. So today I got liquid makeup and plan to use that instead of the liquid-powder one as my foundation. So, my question is, what combination should I use? The liquid then powder or the combo then powder? And how can I apply it so it looks as natural as possible while still covering up my blemishes on my forehead and occasionally other places? And why did I just type a life story and not ust get to the point?I have liquid, powder, and a combo of the 2 makeup....best way to apply?
As a make up artist I'd say don't try and use your foundation to cover up noticeable blemishes or spots...it's only meant to even out minor flaws. Use your foundation in a thin layer then put concealer on top just where you need it, it'll look much more natural than a thick layer of foundation all over. If you using foundation/powder combo you shouldn't need to use a seperate powder on top. Only use powder on normal fluid or cream foundation. Hope that helps. xI have liquid, powder, and a combo of the 2 makeup....best way to apply?
well put the candy cane on the left and he liqidear onth front side then iy will look good

Does using a cream or liquid under eye concealer work with Bare Essence or other mineral makeups?

I have the well rested also but it does not give enough under coverage.Does using a cream or liquid under eye concealer work with Bare Essence or other mineral makeups?
yup i use bare minerals...but it doesn't give me enough coverage for my under eyes either so i use clinique concealer...the one that comes in a green tube. you should give it a try.Does using a cream or liquid under eye concealer work with Bare Essence or other mineral makeups?
Yes, It'll do. You should be able to use any concealer without problem.
I use under eye concealer with my Physicians formula mineral wear. It seems to work just fine.
any concelar should do the trick. then lightly apply well rested. not too much of both cuz it'll start to look cakey!

Has NE 1 ever had a free makeup thing done from Clinque ? She gave me 2 dark of Liquid Cover Up.?

I am a freshman in high school, and during the end of the summer school shopping, i decided to get make up cause everyone was wearing it, so i had a free thing done at Filene's ( now Macy's ) at the Clinique department and the Liquid Cover Up, seemed pretty good to me. But after a while of not wearing it, and then putting it back on it looked way to dark for my face, so i had to get Powder Cover Up to put over it to make it look some what normal. i was just wondering if this has ever happened to anyone before.Has NE 1 ever had a free makeup thing done from Clinque ? She gave me 2 dark of Liquid Cover Up.?
Yes, I have had this happen before. Basically you had a tan in the summer and winter came around and you became more pale. All ya have to do is adjust to a lighter shade in the winter months. Clinique is great by the way.Has NE 1 ever had a free makeup thing done from Clinque ? She gave me 2 dark of Liquid Cover Up.?
Wow I had the exact same problem when I went to the mall to get Clinique. I'm a freshman this year too. The reason this happens is probably because whenever you're in a mall the lighting can be alot different from school, home, and outside, so you should probably try on the makeup wear it around for a bit and decide if you like it and the colors. I bought the liquid and it made my face look really pretty in the store, but when I left I realized how fake it looked.
here's what happened: your skin paled - maybe you lost your summer tan or something. usually in the winter, you have to wear foundation a shade lighter than in the summer. just buy a lighter shade of the liquid, if you like it.
yeah i got mah make up done there be4 but that never happened to and im a 8th grader in middle school lol

This is a question for you makeup experts.. its about concealor, powder, liquid foundation, etc. ...?

Okay, so let me tell you right off that I am sort of a beginner with makeup, so all i use is concealor, mascara, blush, and a little eyeshadow. So, please use details for my ignorance, lol.

    I have this concealor: http://www.covergirl.ca/en_ca/prodimages鈥?/a>

^ it works for me, but is liquid better? cuz sometimes this feels a bit oily, so i was just wondering.

Okay, and i wanted to start using foundation. Liquid sounds like it would blend well, so, what kind should i get? Just make sure its oil free, good for your skin....

I heard that the maybelline super stay silky foundation is good.. what do you reccomend?

And, after i would put on the liquid stuff, do i HAVE to put on the powder? does it really make a diff, or can i just skip it..?

And, last but not least, i have pretty fair skin, and my cheeks get red easily (irish in me, lol), so what shade should i use?

Thank you thank you thank you in advance. Any help is much appriciated.

The Longest + most thorough answer = 10 points.

P.S: dont just copy from an article, please give me your real opinions.

=]This is a question for you makeup experts.. its about concealor, powder, liquid foundation, etc. ...?
In my opinion, the concealer your using is wayy better than liquid. I've tried six different kinds of liquid and none work for my combination skin, but I started the stick concealer and it covers up way better.

For foundation, it's kinda tough. Liquid foundation gives you more coverage plus a natural airbrushed look, but it may clog your pores. Powder foundation is better for your skin, and it gives good coverage, but not as great as liquid. I think your best bet would be oil-free liquid OR Bare Escentuals powder.

And last but not least, try the covergirl or almay smart shade makeup, where it blends into your skintone.

Good luck :)This is a question for you makeup experts.. its about concealor, powder, liquid foundation, etc. ...?
It de[ends if you have oily, dry, or combo skin.
First off, check your skin type. If you've an oily skin and prone to break out look for products that are oil free, not water based. Since you said that you've a little bit of redness on your cheek and you want to cover that, you should look for a liquid foundation. However, if you've no breakout whatsoever, you can try using a mineral powder foundation. Your cheeks' redness will play up to your skin (looks like a natural flush). MAC foundation are good, I'm unsure about maybelline.

Apply your concealer AFTER your foundation. If you're using a liquid foundation, it is recommended to dust some powder afterwards to set it, esp. if you're oily. It does make a difference - it helps to make your makeup stay longer and you'll look less oily/shiny.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say on your last question, but your foundation should blend to your skin. Most of MAC liquid foundation gives you the coverage that you need to cover the redness of your cheeks.

Since you're fair, you should try getting a rosy or coral blush to play up those cheekbones.
    Q-'; it works for me, but is liquid better? cuz sometimes this feels a bit oily, so i was just wondering.';

A - First you need to start with a proper skin care regime that controls oil, my guess is you are 25 or younger? that means you have more oil production in your skin. TONER is sooo important. It removes impurities. If you can get your skin to be more smooth by exfoliating and proper cleansing.. concealer would be unnecessary and can be used on the rare occasions that you actually need it

Q-Okay, and i wanted to start using foundation. Liquid sounds like it would blend well, so, what kind should i get? Just make sure its oil free, good for your skin.

A- If you follow the above advice a perfect wet to dry foundation can be dual purpose.. wet the sponge for more coverage but use half the side of the foundation then the other side can be a dusting powder. I find liquid is better for people who have dry skin. Powder has absorbing qualities and helps reduce shine (if you are oily) OR powder in the summer and liquid in the winter is also another option depending on where you live.

Q I heard that the maybelline super stay silky foundation is good.. what do you reccomend?

A . Here is the link for duo wet to dry foundation that I use and love

    http://shop.beauticontrol.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?storeId=11051%26amp;catalogId=10051%26amp;parent_category_rn=23255%26amp;categoryId=39294

Q -And, after i would put on the liquid stuff, do i HAVE to put on the powder? does it really make a diff, or can i just skip it..?

    A. Powder is a setting agent. Make-up artists always use a dusting powder after to set the make-up during photo shoots, when lights are on the skin, skin looks shinny with liquid based make-up To produce a smoother finish the dust lightly with a mineral powder. You have to be aware that certain mineral powders are so fine that you MUST exfoliate the skin to get it OUT of the pores. so the answer is not really , it depends on how you want your face to look, dewy or matte?

Q-And, last but not least, i have pretty fair skin, and my cheeks get red easily (irish in me, lol), so what shade should i use?

A- I would use a tinted moisturizer OR a green concealer as that will reduce ruddiness, just make sure you only put it on the areas that are mostly red or ruddy...Don't be scared of it, just use sparingly. You can also mix a bit into a liquid foundation into your hand, add a little of the green then put on the areas that are mostly ruddy.

2 Makeup Questions...Foundation with a dial? Liquid Stuff?

Is there a brand of makeup that carries a liquid foundation included with a dial to change the color? If yes, what is it? I know they have self spray-tanners with the dial.

And Is there a liquid that you put on an eyeliner-brush then you dip the liner into a eyeshadow and Walaaaaah Liquid eyeliner from your fave shadow? I saw it in a mag or someplace and i cant remember where to get it.

Thanks!2 Makeup Questions...Foundation with a dial? Liquid Stuff?
you already got the first answer, revlon. I dont like it at all. my friends and i tested the colour difference a ton of times, and shade one is EXACTLY the same as shade 5, at least in the bottle i got, so imo it's not worth it at all.

2nd question- if you get a thin brush or use an liquid eyeliner brush and add water to it you could use dip it in yr eyeshadow and use it as eyeliner. it's not the easiest to do though. but it also works to make yr eyeshadow darker or more matte.2 Makeup Questions...Foundation with a dial? Liquid Stuff?
The first is Revlon. it works pretty well. It is a fair foundation. The latter, if you use just a liquid eyeliner brush and wipe off the excess, and dip it into eyeshadow it works.
Revlon is the answer for your first question. For your second question, it does not make sense-

  • L'oreal true match liquid or true match compact makeup?

    which one is better?

btw i live in miami so its really hot all the time.

And i am going to buy a powder to set it with.

thank you :)L'oreal true match liquid or true match compact makeup?
Speaking from experience, L'oreal's True Match Liquid foundation is great if you're looking for a fuller coverage foundation. L'oreal offers a huge selection of colours to choose from, so if you are able to find the perfect colour, that's great.

Using L'oreal's True Match Liquid foundation, you'll be able to achieve a beautiful dewy finish after setting with a powder foundation.

I hope this helps. Good luck!L'oreal true match liquid or true match compact makeup?
i put on the liquid, then i put the powder over it.

it works better and it stays through the humidity.
    use both

Do you use a makeup brush to apply liquid foundation?

I'm thinking of buying this one...does it work well for you?

    Any other thoughts or comments?

http://www.clinique.com/templates/produc鈥?/a>Do you use a makeup brush to apply liquid foundation?
I just recently bought a foundation brush...and so far i do like it! the coverage is really nice!

i ';researched'; on YouTube, and theres a Make-up artist on there who does a demostration/review of different foundation applicators (including airbrushing foundation). Just search the name EnKore...he is VERY imformative!!!

GL!!!Do you use a makeup brush to apply liquid foundation?
NO. Absolutely not!!! That is unsanitary. Your brush should be thrown away and burned. You have contaminated your makeup and your brush. Not to mention, your makeup probably doesn't look right. Use a sponge or your fingertips to apply. A sponge is more sanitary because you throw away with each use. Do not use it for a week, in other words.

If you want to brush on your makeup, then I highly recommend using mineral powders such as Micabella (www.micabella.com). They have different techniques to use their powders. You can use their foundation as concealer as well as foundation. You can use their eyeshadow also for liner, lipstick, and lipliner. It's easy, fun, and makes you beautiful the entire day.
so many people are wrong in answering this question. you should use a makeup brush when applying your makeup always! its better than your fingers because your fingers will cause uneven application plus a brush can be gentler for the face. a sponge can be used for touch ups but a sponge is definitely more unsanitary. especially if you reuse it.

a brush is the best way to go - a flat brush but i recomment a dual bristle brush like mac 187. but in any case, you are making the right decision. all the professionals use brushes to apply foundation.
    i rarely wear foundation, because

    i'm pore-conscious. haha. d:

but i do own this brush and i use

it whenever i do wear foundation.

it is perfect for getting a smooth

    finish and has amazing coverage.

out of all the foundation brushes

i've ever used, this is definitely one

    of my favorites.
You certainly can. It depends on the type of coverage you are looking for. I've applied make-up with a brush but I prefer a nice smooth makeup sponge. It really all depends on what makes you comfortable and which results you like better. When it comes to make-up I always say ';try it';. Good luck!
yep, alot of people do it because it gives it more of an even finish and its cleaner, looks like a decent quality brush too

only thing about using a brush it that it gets dirty really easily and usually needs washing every day or 2
i cant believe what you just asked. you NEVER usea brushtoapply foundation. especially if its liquid. You use on of those small, circular, soft foundation application pads.
    NO!!!

If you want to pass liquid base on your face, then you will need the special sponge. It works geat!

or if not, and you are bussy to buy one, simplyt pass it with your hand.
    hell no////%26lt;%26gt;:';{}+_)(+_)(*%26amp;^%$#@!~
try the mac #187, always works for me. so you dont have use those nasty little bacteria carrying sponges or dirty fingers.
I don't reccomend it. The color will then come out uneven on your face.

Should I wear brown or black liquid liner with this makeup look (pictures)?

Ok so I'm using this eyeshadow:

    http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl0/2鈥?/a>

(not the bobbi brown one, the one under that.)

I'll use the 6th color (the darkest brown) closest to my lashline, then the 3rd color all up till the crease. Then the 2nd color which is the peachy one, I'll blend that slightly with the lighter brown and bring it up a little higher then my crease. The 1st color I'll use as a highlighter.

Should I use black or brown liquid liner?

This is my eyes, hair, %26amp; skin color:

    http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll141鈥?/a>

my hair is a little lighter then that now though.Should I wear brown or black liquid liner with this makeup look (pictures)?
Brown during the day and I would suggest a pencil or dark brown shadow as your liner ( only use liquid if your trying to achieve the Cleopatra look) Black is for Night time, if you need to wear black during the day then use pewter not cole black this can make your beautiful eyes too small. Take care, VShould I wear brown or black liquid liner with this makeup look (pictures)?
brown. black would make it look really weird.

if you weren't putting brown on your eyes and used the blues and greys, black would work, however.

btw, your eye color is really pretty. :)
I Would Say The Black Liner

Oh And If Those Are Your Eyes In That Picture,You Have Gorgeus Eyes!

Well Now That I Think About It I Think Both Might Work Well.
    Very gorgeous eyes! :)

    use black eye liner.
    Definitely Balck=]
Brown, or either, but brown would be better.
I would have to go with brown!

Your eyes really stand out too!
    Black... suits your eyes better....

Why would you want to have your make up like Lindsay Lohan? I;m sure you could find a better look than that. She needs help!!! with everything, sorry she is a loser, and her parents aren't helping, I'm sorry as you can tell I really don't like her at all.
It looks like she has a dark brown eyeshadow blended in near her lashline and blended outwards, and then maybe a line of liquid eyeliner on top of that.
Yes in black, thick on upper lid and a thin line near bottom lashes. With a lot of masscara

Best makeup brush for liquid foundation?

recently i purchased the MAC 190 foundation brush and was super excited because it made my liquid foundation look great! • Bare Minerals or Sheer Cover? Only answer if you use mineral makeup, no compact or liquid foundation...?

respond from your own experience. i've heard gospels about b.m., but sheer cover is made by Guthy-Renker, the makers of proactiv. they're pretty good too. no, maybeline, MAC, covergirl, other that other riffraff. just mineral makeupBare Minerals or Sheer Cover? Only answer if you use mineral makeup, no compact or liquid foundation...?
I used Bare Mineral and its HORRIBLE.

VERY cakey %26amp; powdery %26amp; doesnt hide any imperfections at all. Not natural looking at all, you could definately tell your wearing makeup.

Your better off wearing none than bare minerals.

Dermatologist %26amp; other skin specialtist such as Paula say Bare Mineral isnt even good for your skin %26amp; so on. There more info but i wont get into that.

They say MAC %26amp; Clinque is the BEST foundations for your skin. %26amp;%26amp;%26amp; neutrogena. Even loreal %26amp; covergirl are wayyyy better than bare mineral ect.

P.S. Proactive SUCKS!!!Bare Minerals or Sheer Cover? Only answer if you use mineral makeup, no compact or liquid foundation...?
I have used both, and personally do not care for either. Bare minerals got a little cakey and didn't last throughout the day. Sheer Cover was very sheer. I didn't get good coverage at all, and it disappeared into my skin within a couple of hours.

I switched to KmS Mineral Essentials. I love it! It is 100% pure mineral makeup, does not contain bismuth which is in both bare minerals and sheer cover, and gives my complexion an amazing finish.
Bare Minerals is TERRIBLE, that crap broke me out, and I don't know about sheer cover because I don't feel like paying $30 a month 4 it. I really recommend Everyday Minerals, it's cheap and it works, trust me. This stuff gives me great coverage. You can go to their website and order the free sample kit. You only pay for shipping %26amp; Handling. Just try it out.
I agree with everyone else! Bare minerals looks cakey and fake, and it made me itch like crazy cuz of the bismuth oxychloride in it. Took me forever to figure out what was causing the itch. They put that ingredient in tons of makeup from lotsa companies.

I use the Hollywood formula from LA Minerals and I LOVE the stuff!!! Really natural looking, covers good, lasts all day.

Get some samples, they are only like $1 each and they ship them free. Get some of the veil too. Applied over the foundation makes your skin look and feel smooth and flawless.

    http://www.laminerals.com

    I'm hooked for life!!!!!
There is better Mineral foundation out there...You just have to look. There is this make-up called Joppa Minerals, which I totally recommend. You should check out the sites.

And I've heard great things about Lumiere, too.

I hear Bare Minerals is pretty bad for your skin...I tried it, and I didn't like it at all. It really was obvious that I was wearing make-up, and it left my face feeling dry and cakey.
I've been using Bare Minerals for 2 years...and i absolutely love it! First off, there are tons of shades to choose from, and you can even mix and match colors to match ur perfect shade...it does not irritate my skin, it leaves my skin looking flawless, and its super easy to apply...i've never tried sheer cover but u should def try bare minerals...make sure u get the mineral veil land kabuki brush though!! ive also tried alot of great things about everydayminerals....its cheaper and better for sensitive skin apparently...
I haven't used sheer cover. Only bare minerals. I thinks its Loreal Minerals or something like that. But I love it. It gives me and even completion and it makes me feel like I have absolutely nothing on. It's also very quick to put on when you're in a rush in the morning.
my dermotoligist told me that Bare Minerals make-up clogs your pores.

    he recomended using neutrogena foundation.

i dont know the sheer cover make-up.

but im guessing its not too bad since its made by the proactiv people.
    i use bare minerals

Can you take liquids makeup in suitcase over 100ml if its in your suitcase and not handluggage?

    Yes.

There is no 100ml/3 ounce restriction on makeup carried in checked baggage. The restriction applies only on hand-carry items.

Usually, you will face no problem whatever.

A qualification: if whatever you wish to take with you happens to come under the description of ';dangerous Goods'; then it will be forbidden, not just by the airline, but by governmental regulation. The regulations apply to airlines all around the world and while some airlines will add things to the laws, to make them even more restrictive, airlines are not permitted to remove any part of them.

You must be sure the items you wish to carry are not of a hazardous nature: they are forbidden for carriage on all aircraft unless properly (professionally) packaged.

You asked about millilitres so you may be from Canada, and here is an official website that explains the dangerous goods restrictions, and gives examples of household items in that category.

http://www.tc.gc.ca/CivilAviation/commer鈥?/a>Can you take liquids makeup in suitcase over 100ml if its in your suitcase and not handluggage?
you can take it in your suitcase not a problem (usually) as its packed away and no way for you to use it on the flight for any bad business.

check with your flight ppl anyway. I usually take all things like this in me suitcase and if it is questioned I tell them its only (whatever it is) and is packed away and it is only for whatever its use is. If they be awkward say you haven't got time or can't be asked to deal with it. tell them if its so much of a big deal take it and you'll just go through the hassle of finding and buying more on your holiday and by doing this your putting the ball in their court and they should then just give back.

I say this because my sister bought back a couple of tubs of hair removing wax and they made her open up to check (and they were being awkward at the that particular airport as on another occasion they also made me and many others open up for no reason in the same small local airport in india) anyway my sister said its just hair wax keep it if you want i'll just get more later and asked them not to waste her and their own time. they took the tub away and came back and apologized.

I reckon they are showing a bit of initiative and if your strong minded they can hassle you and they get a report to say they stopped someone. but I don't see this happening in western airports or in the much larger international eastern airports. Like I never have problems at delhi or mumbai just this one local small airport.

have fun anyway. Can you take liquids makeup in suitcase over 100ml if its in your suitcase and not handluggage?
The restriction is only on hand luggage not on bags that get checked in and go in teh hold. The pressure down there is lower than normal durng the flight so sometimes things like contact lens cleaning fluids and moisturiser leak. If you pack each bottle in its own zip-lock plastic bag then this should stop your clothes getting messed up. It's a bit fiddly but its a lot better than arriving at your destination to find your new evening shoes full of oily suntan lotion and your best clothes covered in moisturiser.
yes, you can take as much as u like in you suitcase,

just in your hand luggage, you can take up to 5 items thatare up to 100ml each in a plastic resealable bag,

also just to make sure check on the airports website, they should give you all the info there
Yes, normally you can take as much as you want if its not in your handluggage. you might want to check with the particular airline though, as some have different rules.
yes xx you can take all liquids in your suitcase xx 100ml is the limit for hand luggage so just buy water when your suitcase has already been searched and you have gone through the gates xxx

    Have a great time!!! xxx
Yes once its checked through the idea being you can't access it on the flight. How your going to attack a plane with liquid makeup is beyond me but there you go....
Yes, but pack it carefully. The baggage hold is not pressurized, and any air inside the bottle may cause the contents to leak.
i think you can, i did take some perfume. Maybe u should let them know at the check in desk but i think it's ok.
Yes as long as they are not prohibited substances.

Laura Mercier or Makeup Forever? (Oil-free liquid foundation)?

I'm Asian, 18, I have combination, acne-prone skin... medium light skin with yellow undertones/sunny beige...

currently use MUFE oil-free... it's alright. I'm running out, and I'm wondering if I should switch to Laura mercier or just get MUFE again?

Also... what's your view on primers? necessary..crucial? perhaps..?

thanks in advance !Laura Mercier or Makeup Forever? (Oil-free liquid foundation)?
I have oily skin too, I haven't used the Laura Mercier foundation, but I've used the MUFE and Laura Mercier tinted oil free moisturizer.

I prefer the tinted moisturizer, because, it has build-able coverage, and because its a moisturizer, it will help hydrate your skin, which is why you get oily (your skin needs hydration).

As far as primers. I've used the MAC primer and the Smashbox Primers. I'm sure they work great, but not for oily skin, Smashbox has a primer for oily skin (tried a sample, didn't like it either). I think its best not to use it for our skin type.Laura Mercier or Makeup Forever? (Oil-free liquid foundation)?
I suggest getting a sample of Laura Mercier, since you do not know how it will act with your skin yet.

Try that out for a week or so, and see how it works on your skin during that time.

And my view on primers is... A good item to use but is completely optional. If you have oilier skin, it's good to invest in one that helps to prevent oils from seeping through the makeup as fast. For dry skin, it's good to use to help make the skin smoother. But if you find that makeup works great without one, why bother buying one?

Oh and for natural look, I suggest not trying to cover EVERYTHING perfectly. It's not a big deal if you see a few scars slightly. But if you really want, try out a higher coverage concealer, with a sheer layer of foundation. Blend it out like crazy too!

    Good luck :)

Is cover girl's clean makeup good? (the liquid & powder). how about their new mineral makeup?

I use Cover Girl's Tru Blend, which just came out with a whipped version, and I really really like it. It blends in really well, doesn't look cakey and stays on all day. Haven't tried the mineral one.Is cover girl's clean makeup good? (the liquid %26amp; powder). how about their new mineral makeup?
i think the makeup is good... but the liquid and powder kinda clogs ur pores.. so u need to make sure you wash it off really good... and the mineral makeup doesnt clog ur pores.. its really light too.

i like the mineral makeup best.

KGWIs cover girl's clean makeup good? (the liquid %26amp; powder). how about their new mineral makeup?
the best make up for me that i use is liquid foundation u just apply with sponge and it look clean and mooed better than liquid and powder........ .......that what everybody is using know 2007.....yeah covergirl is clean in my opinion but liqid......
well try neautrogena minerals sheer its so cute i love it .it looks nice
This stuff has a scent, which does not agree with my skin. In my opinion, as far as drugstore foundation goes, you cannot beat Revlon for the price. Almay is also a good choice.
if you're gonna go with cover girl, go with true blend. it's great!
Yes it is! But going natural is ur best choice. It looks much better. Cover girl's makeup is good though. Just don't use so much that it looks like u have on makeup. That's just a suggestion. And sometimes when u get older u can have skin problems, (from wearing makeup).
beware of nano particles in make-up . sure it looks good , but long term health effects have not been disproved .
Go with MAC. It is a little pricey, but it will always be a perfect match to your skin tone. I have a funny undertone and could not wear make up until I was introduced to MAC.

How can i get my makeup to do this using just eyeliner and liquid eyeliner?

how !?How can i get my makeup to do this using just eyeliner and liquid eyeliner?
switch the liquid eyeliner with mascara. just line ur eyes copying the pic, more on the outer corners. make a dark thick line (its okay if its messy) and use a q-tip to smudge. repeat. this will give the eyeshadow effect. then line ur lashline darker. on bottom, line ur outer half of lower lid then smudge, line it again. apply 3 coats mascara on top and bottom. let dry 5 min. use this time to do other makeup. then curl lashes flr 20 sec each eye (this takes practicing) hope i hlpd :]How can i get my makeup to do this using just eyeliner and liquid eyeliner?
Liquid eyeliner really thin filling the spaces between eyelashes, and doing a ';flick'; at the end (and getting thicker lines for the ends of the eyes)

and then do a thick line of pencil eyeliner, do it lightly, and basically do the rims of the eyes. (really lightly on the bottom, it's barely there)

I think an eyeshadow of a dark shade of onyx could by brushed on and it would look nice..

Oh, and she put mascara. on the bottom lashes too. I think she put it on pretty heavily, maybe a volumizing one.

    Hope that helped!
use liquid liner and line the top lashline starting from 1/3 way from the corner of your eyes. thicken the line as you go out towards the outer corners. apply black liner on the bottom outer corners, use an angled eyeshadow brush and pull it in half way towards the center. it looks like she apply a white eyeliner on her lower lashline as well. the white liner makes your eyes seem bigger anyways. then put on a put on a really dark mascara. i recommend maybelline's great lash blackest black mascara for this look.

    hope this help =]
Line bottom lids with black eyeliner, thinner towards the inner lid

Apply liquid liner above lash line, thicker towards, extending around 'V' of eyes

    Apply more if needed,

    Hope i helped =)
    LIQUID LINER ON TOP.

PENCIL LINER ON BOTTOM, BUT ONLY GO FROM THE OUTER CORNER TO THE MIDDLE. AND YOUR GONNA NEED A LITTLE BLACK EYE SHADOW FOR THE FULL EFFECT.
idk, but if you find out let me know

Almay Smart Shade makeup or Maybelline's Dream Liquid Mousse?

Which would work better for my skin? This is me:

    http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa100鈥?/a>

I have kind of dry to normal skin, and i usually dont get pimples alot. My main problem is the dark circles under my eyes and the dark areas around my mouth.

If you have used any of these foundation please let me know what you think of them. Thank You.Almay Smart Shade makeup or Maybelline's Dream Liquid Mousse?
well i haven't used either product, but from the commercials i saw the dream liquid mousse looks too fake. Like her skin didn't look real at all! The smart shade looked more convincing. Sweet pic by the wayAlmay Smart Shade makeup or Maybelline's Dream Liquid Mousse?
You look like you have flawless skin in the picture! But anyways, Almay Smart Shade is pretty good. Dont get the smart shade blush - it's not great. The bronzer is amazing and looks very natural. I went to the store to buy Maybelliene Liquid Mousse but I was testing it out and put it on my finger and it was like water! So I wound up not buying it.

Another great foundation is maybelliene mineral power %26amp; the pressed powder over it. GREAT product :)

    Hope i helped
I think the Dream Liquid Mousse is a lot better. The woman on the commercial is just to prove that it makes your skin look smooth and completely pore-less. Plus, its less expensive.

  • Liquid foundation or mineral makeup?

My skin is combination. Which one (liquid or mineral) works better on my skin?Liquid foundation or mineral makeup?
try bare minerals by bare escentuals. it is the best, stays on, looks natural, and works for all skin types.Liquid foundation or mineral makeup?
don't clog your pores by using liquid foundation. I always found liquid foundation to be so heavy, i felt like I was wearing a mask.

now i just brush on a bronzer before i go out and it looks sunkissed and great!

definately go mineral, it seems like it would be a lot better for your skin, and that is of course the most important thing!!!
i use the mineral makeup...its way better for your skin and it doesnt give you oily skin or as bad acne...well it doesnt for me..thats why i use it. and foundation makeup makes your face look chalky... mineral makeup blends in w/ your real color!
I also have combination skin. Liquid foundation just makes the oily areas oiler. I would break out due to particles in the makeup getting into the pores when it was very hot and I sweated. It also got worse would try to brush the sweat beads off of of my face. I have since then switched to mineral makeup. With the mineral make up I discovered that not only did I have to use less and that it took less time to put it on and that I looked natural, but that the break outs stopped happening.
Mineral is best and easier to match with skintone will not clog pores
Mineral make-up hands down. I've been using it for a few years %26amp; I will never go back to traditional liquid or cream foundations ever again. Minerals cover flawlessly and is never cakey. I like the pressed minerals as opposed to the loose minerals. Loose makes a big mess. I use Jane Iredale, but Physican's Formula is sold in drug stores %26amp; is quite inexpensive. A little goes a long way. Once you use it you'll be hooked. Good Luck. 2D
I am all about mineral makeup. If I use liquid foundation my skin looks so unhealthy and I break out. I started using mineral make up and I looked and felt healthier ( my skin) plus I was able to find some that I can afford!
I have combination skin as well and I am hooked on the mineral makeup. I don't like the way liquid makes my face looks. The mineral makeup is a little more expensive, but you only have to use such a small amount that it will last for a long time. I have noticed too that my skin looks better since I've started using it, healthier and less oily. It's a good investment. (You can by lines such as mineral essence and bare escentual (both are great lines) brand new on ebay for a lot less then through the websites). Good luck!
I highly recommend Bare Escentuals Mineral Make-up. I have combination skin and have been using it for over 4 years now. I like the fact that it's easy to touch up, can look very natural or very dramatic, and is forgiving in color matching. I've recommended this product line to several friends and all have continued to use the product for years now also. You can get product 'samples' on ebay to try (please use your common sense and discretion and purchase only from reputable ebay sellers). Mineral make-up can seem expensive, but I've found I spend way less money than I used to. The products are very versatile (i.e. powders can be used on cheeks, eyes, and even lips and it stays put!)

Hope this answered a few of your questions. Good luck!
If you would like to try mineral makeup, start with something a little less expensive. Physicians Formula has a pretty good mineral makeup. I think this would be best for your skin type
Mineral Make up is healthier for your skin.

    DONT USE SMART SHADE.

    it is a WASTEEEEEE.

It comes out yellowish and at the bottom of the bottle its brown and weird.

Liquid mousse is better.Almay Smart Shade makeup or Maybelline's Dream Liquid Mousse?
I have used both and personally, I like the dream mousse. It works wonders and it makes your face so even and soft looking. It also adds moisture and doesn't dry out your skin. For the dark circles and other dark area's use a concealer that is a couple of colors lighter than your foundation. Just dab it on and use as much as you need. Then don't rub the foundation over the concealor, dab it on lightly and blend. Hope this helps. Have a great day!
dream liquid mousse is great! it doesn't clog my pores, or make my face oily at all. it covers everything easily.

Makeup - how do i use liquid eyeliner?

And any other tips? i dont know anything about makeup hahaMakeup - how do i use liquid eyeliner?
Ok so liquid is the hardest to apply but has a great effect. so here is two ways to apply it.

This is the way I use-

so i start off by drawing a guide line with pencil eyeliner from one tear duct to the other (only above the eye because this is where liquid is normally applied). then I apply liquid over that, make sure you have a steady hand because it takes a lot of practice. finally flick it out gently at the outer edge. apply pencil at the bottom on the water line.

Another way people use is more common but takes more skill. First with a steady hand you apply the liquid eyeliner to the top of the eye in the same place as before gently flicking it out at the end. This takes more skill because you have no guide line. Next you apply liquid underneath the eye in a thin line (make sure it is thin and is not on the water line but under your lashes or it can irritate the eye) again gently join this to the flick you made when you did the top of the eye.

Hope I helped xMakeup - how do i use liquid eyeliner?
Liquid eyeliner is tricky and takes some practice but I wear it all the time. You need to pull out your eyelid so its flat and apply the eyeliner as close to your eyelash as possible. Let go of your lid and make sure it looks ok. It needs to go from corner to corner and make sure its even and there are no gaps between the lash.

For eyeshadow, close your eye. Get a lighter color and put it on first, I like a light brown, then a darker shade darker brown and put it on the outside corner and blend in with a small eye brush and you can even use your finger.

Apply mascara and your good to go.
Rest your arm on a table or desk, with an eye pencil draw a very fine line as close to your eyelashes as you can then follow this up with a liquid eyeliner. Keep doing this till you get plenty of practice. Also invest in a good eyeliner brush if you can. Best ones are Bobbi Brown and Mac and Laura Mercier's Smoky Eyeliner Brush - although a little expensive but worth it in the long run.
OMG this took me forever to master lol cuz i have a shaky hand but Youtube helped me a LOT. they have some great tutorials. also, what really made a difference was the liquid eyeliner i used. at first i used one with a brush tip which was flimsy, harder to control and didn't make a sharp line when i was trying to wing it out. i got l'oreal carbon black lineur intense liquid eyeliner with a felt tip and it's AWESOME. i used it today to get a winged look and it's soo easy. i heard the revlon colorstay is good too. hope i helped!=]
Liquid eyeliner goes across the bottom of your eyelid...where your eyelashes start, just make sure you have a steady hand and draw a line all the way across. Have a facial wipe to hand to wipe of smudges before they dry. Also it sometimes looks good if as your coming to the end of your eye lid (side furthest from your nose) you keep drawing the line a little to create a ';flick out'; at the side of your eye, looks cool, dont make it too long tho across your face or you will look stupid.
VERY carefully. Make a line exactly where your lashes are. Then do not open til they're dry or it's smears.

GEL is best or eye shadow, with either you can use a shadow sponge to do it........

    Liquid foundation vs mineral makeup?

Hey, i just wanna know which one i should use, either liquid foundation or mineral makeup? I have dry skin and red areas and am acne prone so i don't know what kind of makeup i should use. Also, could you please suggest a specific brand (preferably inexpensive) of the makeup that i should get?

ty soooo much^^^^^Liquid foundation vs mineral makeup?
Bare Minerals is kind of expensive, but honestly the best out there for this skin type. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and I bought Bare Minerals three weeks ago within literally 3 days all 9 of my zits were gone. I am hooked! Try getting the Get Started Face set. It's sixty dollars, but it comes with everything you'll need including brushes, so when you run out of make-up its like $20 for a new thing of foundation which is the relative price of a good drug store foundation. Don't use liquid, it is the type that clogs pores the most.Liquid foundation vs mineral makeup?
Personally I would prefer liquid cause it gives better coverage and if you are acne prone then I don't think mineral make up will provide that much coverage. That's just my personal opinion! You could try the urban decay liquid foundation, it isn't that expensive and lasts long. Otherwise I think Rimmel have a good range of liquid foundations!

Also, foundations should make you break out if you are removing them properly before you go to sleep at night. Wash your face twice to get rid of all make up!
i would use liquid foundation. I tend to go away from mineral makeup (the powder ones,i'm assuming you're talking about) because they get really cakey and people tend to apply too much so that it clogs pores anyways. liquid foundation provides a more even coverage.

idk your price range, but i love clinique foundations because they hypoallergenic so they won't make you break out or cause redness.

but if you're looking for a drugstore brand, i hear l'oreal true match is pretty good. good luck!
The BB Cream, aka Blemish Balm, is the hottest beauty product in Asia right now. It has the advantages of both a makeup and skincare product. It can even out skintone, camouflage undereye circles, acne scars and add radiance to the skin without the heavy mask-like effects of a foundation.

    http://lavidafashionistas.blogspot.com/
I';m 23 years old and I've always been acne prone. All makeups irritated my skin horribly. I tried the mineral foundation from bare escentuls. I love it. My skin has been much clearer than it ever was before. Now the bad part is one container costs about $25.... but it does last for about 2 to 3 months depending on how much you put on. If that's a bit expensive for you, I would try the other mineral foundations out on the market now. I believe cover girl came out with one and I use a lot of their products. Hope the best for ya!

    Makeup problem! liquid foundation?

my frien told me it doesn't matter what brand of makeup you use its how you apply it. well i have a problem anytime i apply makeup i will look good from far away and look totally ugly upclose with this little little bumps/circles on my face. i break out a little but when i wear makeup they tend to look bigger. towards the end of the day my face always gets darker and oily and the makeeup turns into oil and make me look xtra ugly.

ALL I WANT TO KNOW IS A WAY TO APPLY JUST FOUNDATION! AND MAKE MY FACE LOOK FLAWLESS AND TRUST ME I MOSTURIZE AND USE TONER BEFORE I APPLY FOUNDATION. BY THE WAY I USE BLACK RADIANCE AND SOMETIMES POSNER LIQUID FOUNDATION.Makeup problem! liquid foundation?
Using a foundation brush gives everyone a flawless finish rather then a sponge or your fingers, then a layer of powder after shoud set it and keep it lookin more flawless too.Makeup problem! liquid foundation?
I have the exact same problem.

I would recommend using a foundation brush, I have only just started using one and the work REALLY WELL! I think that they give a more even and flawless finish as apposed to using a sponge or your fingers.

I would also recommend investing in a good concealer, apply a TINY bit of foundation, then using a concealer brush apply concealer where you need it, this could be around the nose and chin for redness, or on pimples and for under-eye circles look down and asess your bags/dark circles and apply concealer using the brush, ensuring that you pat it into your skin and do not rub. After you have done the concealer, go over you face again with a VERY LIGHT COATING of foundation, this will help blend both products into the skin and help them melt into your face.

I always finish with a light dusting of powder to set the make-up and also reduce shine. If you find that you need another coating of powder during the day, use tissues to blot the skin, and then reapply the powder using a large fluffy brush.

Just remember to keep the application light and radiant and to let your natural skin shine through. Blend foundation down into your neckline. Apply moisturizer and then wait for it too dry before apply foundation.
All i can suggest is to use a powder foundation , as most liquid foundation will give this appearance that you describe. If that fails go without! foundation only damages the skin in the long term!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Apply with a brush, use oilfree makeup. Janeiredale.com is an excellent excellent makeup and my skin looks great because of it. I used their foundation, but now I find I just apply their camoflauge in spots and spread it with my brush and then cover with powder. Using a foundation with a yellow base covers dark spots the best. This make up is all natural too.
Go for a liquid to powder type foundation and spend as much as you can afford. I think to try before you buy is the best bet, so get it applied by the store and see how it looks at the end of the day, before you commit financially.
Have your ever tried any of the mineral makeup. like Bare Escentuals? It is great for oily or acne prone skin. The other option would be Laura Geller, who makes a great compact called Balance and Brighten which gives a light coverage and looks great on most skin tones - it's a powder. Check out QVC either on line or on tv - they have some great makeup shows that could give you some suggestions.
i just use my fingers. NO NEED TO GET FANCY!!! you dont need a special ';brush'; or ';sponge'; use what you already have that is free! make sure you use a little at a time. you can always get more, but once you put on too much, you have to start over. i start on my cheeks and work my way to my nose. then i do my forehead and my chin. i MAKE SURE its all blended, then i put some powder just to seal it. my make-up looks the same everyday, and it looks great. [ make sure your powder isnt a totally different color! it can be a little lighter, but dont go darker!]
use powder after applying your foundation with a brush. also, since you use moisturiser daily, leave at least 15 mins after moisturising to put on your foundation! this really helps to stop it from being shiny and greasy.
Pur minerals is great! It comes with a foundation (you can choose between the 3 choices of skin tone they have) then there is a bronzer and a blush. I got it at an Ulta and it is super great! Then try the burts bees ruharb lip balm with a line coat of eyeliner then a little mascara/clear then comb it out with an eylash comber! By the way the pur minerals runs at about 25-30 dollars but it also helps heal acne!

Where can I buy Christian Dior makeup in New Zealand? [liquid foundation?]?

Hi, my mum gave me her liquid foundation by Christian Dior, which I absolutely LOVE. However today I ran out.. and I tried Farmers and a couple of pharmacies and I just can't find any store that sells Christian Dior make up!

Anyone know where I can find them? Or suggest a good liquid foundation that stays on all day and is easy to apply.Where can I buy Christian Dior makeup in New Zealand? [liquid foundation?]?
Which city are you in? Dior is definitely stocked at Farmers, but only at the bigger stores. It's also at LifePharmacy (again, the bigger stores only) as well as Arthur Barnetts (Dunedin), Kirkcaldies (Wgtn) and Smith %26amp; Caughey's (Auckland).Where can I buy Christian Dior makeup in New Zealand? Liquid foundation or mineral makeup?

im confused. I use liquid foundationnow, and it works okay. but im looking into trying a type of mineral makeup. its it true that it makes your skin look healthier?Liquid foundation or mineral makeup?
yes, it is sooo much better!!!!!Liquid foundation or mineral makeup?
Mineral makeup is great for the skin and if you find the right one, your skin will look amazing!! It's better for your skin since almost all liquid foundations have fillers and chemicals that are not good for the skin. If you're going to try a brand, I suggest Everyday Minerals, Aromaleigh, or Signature Minerals. They all offer free samples and their full size products are very affordable. I love Everyday Minerals in the Intensive formula because it covers everything w/o looking like I have a mask on. They also have a lot of shades to choose from so that you can find the perfect one for you. And STAY AWAY from Bare Minerals. It has Bismuth Oxychloride which irritates the skin causing bumps, redness, and itchiness. It's also really expensive, so it's not worth it. Makeupalley.com is a good website that has reviews of all of these and more, so you can check that out too. Good Luck!!
I think it makes your skin look healthier, but if you have very dry skin, it can look flaky. I like the light coverage it gives, though.
I would use this product I.D. Bare Minerals , and if your black i would use Black Radiance . Or another good product is Iman
    Bare Minerals
MIneral makeup is so much better for your skin because it is made with all natural ingredients from the earth. If you really want an excellent makeup, there is a company called Christi Mar that is amazing. Their makeup comes in a compact so you don't have to deal with a messy loose powder. You get awesome coverage without looking or feeling like you're even wearing makeup. Its awesome! You can find it at www.christimarcosmetics.com
I have a great solution for you its made by BEE LUSCIOUS COSMETICS and its a mineral liquid powder , it is amazing all the benefits from liquid and minerals and the results are an amazing silky smooth look that lasts all day. Your face will truly look and feel flawless
Mineral makeup does not offer the coverage that liquid foundation offers. Using a tinted moisturiser would be more beneficial. I reccomend Day Wear Plus tinted moisturiser by Estee Lauder. It offers a luminous sheer coverage and is more beneficial to the skin. If you need more coverage just add a touch of concealer where needed.
    How about none
mineral is so much better its no question

i'm currently trying out different mineral ones i like neutragema(sp?)

its soft and i don't feel like i'm wearing make up

great since i hate wearing make up
I've never used liquid foundation because it looks like paint and very unnatural. I have only used the Bare Minerals brand powder and I love it- doesn't go on heavy, looks natural, it has an spf of 15 and it's promoted by the American Cancer Society. Just make sure you apply lotion before applying the powder so it can hold.
    mineral!!!

yea it does make your skin healthier!:]
Hands down Liquid Mineral is the way to go. I used the Bare Minerals and was very unhappy with the results , it made me look cakey and dry and it settled in my wrinkles. I found through Yahoo the Bee Luscious Cosmetics foundation and it truly is the very best ever once you try this product you will not go back to anything else its that awesome
ya it looks good liquid just comes off after like, an hour

    MINERAL ROCKZ
foundation works to cover but it clogs pores and etc. I used to use it too but i switched to mineral make up. I honestly think mineral make up is better for your skin so give it a try.

i recommend BARE MINERALS - it feels like you're not wearing make up, looks natural and doesn't have that disgusting cakey feeling %26amp; look. it also wont clog up your pores and it is SPF 15. The price isnt bad and if you fall asleep with it on, you have nothing to worry about , you wont wake up with break outs and surprises on your face.
it doesn't make your skin healthier it's just natural so it doesn;t irritate it or it doesn't feel heavy

    Mineral makeup orrrr liquid foundation??!?

    which one is better?

    isnt mineral makeup better??

    just wonderiiin.

    =]Mineral makeup orrrr liquid foundation??!?
Mineral makeup is amazing! liquid foundation sucks...it doesn't really cover very well! Mineral Makeup makes your skin look perfect and hides all those imperfections...even the bumps on your face disappear when you use mineral makeup!Mineral makeup orrrr liquid foundation??!?
You need to decide which is better for you based on your skin type - is it oily, dry or combination? If your skin is oily, you will want to consider a matte foundation, dry skin could look drier with a mineral powder and if your skin is combination or normal it may work very well for you. You also need to consider texture. Do you like your skin to look dewy or matte? You can find some foundations that are sheer coverage, full coverage or tinted moisturizers. You can also find liquid foundations that are botanical based and include spf, in that case, they would be just as good for your skin as a mineral foundation. My suggestion is to go to the department store and have them apply it, wear it for a day (do the same with liquid) and then decide.
Mineral makeup is good for your skin... but I mostly use liquid foundation because I like the texture better. When I use mineral makeup by itself it looks too dry on my face. I guess it depends on your skin type.

I've tried putting liquid foundation on certain parts of my face that really need covering up, like redness. Then I pat mineral makeup all over to keep shine away and make the foundation last longer.
Mineral makeup is the only way to go! Plus it is a lot healthier for your skin and can overall make your skin look healthier and reduce pimples and blemishes! Try Bare Minerals, it's absolutely amazing, I would never go back to liquid make up!
    mineral makeup!

    the powder...

    the liquid foundation is

    so gross and oily. i

    it. i would only suggest

it if you have dry skin.
Yes.. mineral powder is way better for your skin and it make you skin not look cakey or heavy looking but just enhances what you already have and really even outs you skin tone with out it looking cakey! MINERAL POWDER ALL THE WAY!
I use mineral makeup and absolutely love it.

    liquid foundation =]
Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is really good!
    I love it!

Can somebody suggest me, how to remove eye makeup by using home made things. Specially liquid eye liner makeup

Okay, try using either baby oil... Any baby oil will do. But if you don't even have that, use olive oil... pour a bit onto a cotton pad then gently wipe off the eyeliner... These will also remove waterproof mascaras (Well, I've tried the baby oil)....Remember to cleanse it well with a foamy cleanser after that.. Cause it'll be extremely oily...

Good Luck...!Can somebody suggest me, how to remove eye makeup by using home made things. Specially liquid eye liner makeup
wash your face with facial wash and then use just plain q-tips with maybe water for removing eye make up.Can somebody suggest me, how to remove eye makeup by using home made things. Specially liquid eye liner makeup
i dunno about homemade but vasline lotion and baby shampoo
soap and water. Just put a little soap on a Q-tip with water to wash it off. and that way you don't have to worry about getting soap in your eyes. Or a little bit of lotion will work too unless it's water proof liner.
A gentle oil, like wheat germ or jojoba are good. Jojoba oil most closely mimics your own natural sebum and won't cause skin problems.
    Baby oil or Vasaline.
you can use baby shampoo on a piece of toliet paper or a rag and wet the rag or toliet paper and rub it in the rag and use it like that
you can use a cream or an oil but make sure you wash it off cause it will clog your pores and im sure you dont want that.
    vasaline it works really well.
    baby wipes!!!! they work!!!

i have heard of also using vaseline or babyoil! but idk if that might irritate ur eyes....i use neutrogena makeup remover wipes...they work!!
    Vegetable oil, or cocoa butter.
Any kind of oil will do, and next time you go shopping, pick up any kind of makeup remover cloths. The kind that are presoaked and stuff.
i wud say buy some almond oil. i did and its so simple! all i have to do is get a damp cotton ball, put a few drops o oil on it and wipe away! it takes less than 3 minutes for all of my makeup- its that simple!
    buy make up remover anywhere

How do you take makeup out of clothes (liquid foundation)?

If it's a washable fabric, soak it in a pretreated, or stain remover, such as Shout. I've even used Arm %26amp; Hammer bath cleaner, (by mistake) %26amp; it did excellently.

If it is not washable, treat it, %26amp; wipe it off the best you can with a damp wash cloth %26amp; pat it dry. Dry Cleaners Secret Cloths are safe also for non washable clothes, just treat it like I said %26amp; put it in the lowest setting if it's a very delicate item. How do you take makeup out of clothes (liquid foundation)?
Washing your clothes should remove foundation no problem. If it's dry clean only, just make sure you point it out to your dry cleaner. How do you take makeup out of clothes (liquid foundation)?
Try ';Shout';. Sometimes foundation does not come off though! ;(
Just putting it in the washing machine and washing it will take it out.
if it doesn't come out after a wash then use vanish pink spray and leave it for ten minutes before washing it :)
se makeup rewmover on it then wash it in laundry

Can you contract Aid's from the liquid in your eyes. For example sharing an eye makeup pencil with someone ?

YES. An infected person's tear film, like other body fluids, DOES contain the virus. Can you contract Aid's from the liquid in your eyes. For example sharing an eye makeup pencil with someone ?
You cannot get HIV from tears, sweat, saliva, urine or feces. There is a tiny amount present in some of these fluids, BUT, it is in such low concentrations that you cannot possibly become infected.

You should not share make-up with others - many infections can be passed from person to person this way - particularly infections of the eye. Herpes is not really one of them, unless that person has a type of herpes in their eyes. Can you contract Aid's from the liquid in your eyes. For example sharing an eye makeup pencil with someone ?
Tears are technically considered a non-infectious fluid, which means that it's generally accepted that you can't contract AIDS that way. However, I would much rather err on the side of caution. You also don't want to be sharing eye makeup with anyone because you can transmit bacterial infections.
if i'm not mistaken, the answer is no.

you can only contract aids from blood...
No. You can get AIDS just fromm blood or sexual contact with no protection (condom)
no you can't get aids that way, but I have heard you can get herpes that way
that is why it is called ';Sexually Transmitted Disease';....

so it will only infect you when you make sex to a person with aids

What are you allowed to bring on the airplane as far as liquids and makeup?

I heard it was 3oz. Its that 3ozs total or 3oz per bottle??What are you allowed to bring on the airplane as far as liquids and makeup?
in the us, you need to put all of your liquids (lipgloss, perfume, toothpaste) from your carry-on bag into a 1 quart ziplock bag. security officials have told me that contact lens solution is exempt, but i still bring the small bottle (4oz not 3 oz) and fit it in the ziplock without any problems. each bottle/tube cannot be more than 3 oz. you can pack other larger liquids in your checked luggage. be sure to put those in large ziplock bags as well since they can spill all over your clothes if the caps aren't secure! What are you allowed to bring on the airplane as far as liquids and makeup?
3 ounce per bottle, and as many as can fit in a zip-lock bag.

They are not as strict as you think though. I brought a 5ounce bottle on the other day. So apparently they are not checkin like crazy.
    3oz. per bottle.

There is a limit though I can't remember though check tsa.gov

    Hope I helped!

What's The Best Kind Of Makeup To Use? Like...Brand... Liquid or Mousse?

and long lasting?? my makup always fades off after like. an hour. :(What's The Best Kind Of Makeup To Use? Like...Brand... Liquid or Mousse?
There are a lot of brands of mineral foundation on the market that are long-lasting. If you have sensitive skin, beware of Bare Minerals and most brands of mineral makeup. They contain bismuth oxychloride, which give some women a rash.

See link below for a good brand without irritating fillers and chemicals. Be sure to follow the directions when applying so you don't use too much. What's The Best Kind Of Makeup To Use? Like...Brand... Liquid or Mousse?
i don't like neither. i recommend mineral makeup like bareminerals. they don't fade for hours for me, so it should last long for you also haha. oh and it never looks cakey, no matter how many times you apply it on your face.
    Revlon liquid Colorstay for drugstore.

There's many good high end ones out there.

Bare Escentuals broke my skin out horribly, so be weary!
I like Bare Essentuals. It's really nice, and I think it lasts. It doesn't clog pores either. I highly recommend it! :-)
    use rimmel
Mineral powder foundation. I use Hollywood Face Base from LAminerals. com. Mine lasts all day, and looks and feels really nice and light.
idk i'm curious bout dat 2....
mine does too . hope you get some good answers for this one!!
Bare Escentuals rules!!! It doesn't clog your pores, or break your skin out, and it makes your skin look flawless. Sephora and sephora.com carries everything by Bare Escentuals, plus exclusives only sold at sephora. If you just want to try it out, get a starter kit. That's what I started off doing, and it's great. You will be shocked at how well this makeup works.
use a powder compact. loose powder is too much to deal with
    I adore Cover Girl mouse.
RIMMEL LIQUID MAKEUP (PUMP) AND FOLLOW UP WITH THE COMPAC PRESSED POWDER.
I had that same problem with store bought makeup. I stopped wearing makeup for a long time due to this. Then a friend intorduced me to the Mary Kay brand and I love it.
mary kay! ummm, it's like a lotion. it feels good and doesn't clog my pores!! it last me all day!
mineral makeup, like bare escentuals, is AWESOME.

i get soo many compliments and it looks natural and stays on for a long time.

You can get a whole starter kit at sephora :)
Bare Essentials and Mac are both really great.. you can try them out in the store before you buy and for a set amount of days you can return the product if you're not happy with it.
Mac, but hip,and sephora is good. i like the mousse, but try using the liquid and get a concealer pen to touch up at any time.
Avon eyeliner works really well and the Rimmel long lash or Maybeline volumixer mascara those work then like umm... this dream mousse stuff its like insanely awesome a bit expensive but totally worth it i think its like cover girl.

Ladies? Do you prefer liquid make up remover or makeup remover wipes?

Well um i use my Neutrogena Wave it gets my make-up off in seconds it's really great!!! But I didn't have my Wave i would probably use wipes Liquid Make-Up remover doesnt really help get my makeup off.

Good Luck!Ladies? Do you prefer liquid make up remover or makeup remover wipes?
i prefer the wipes it's not as messy and it works best. I don't buy the ones for make up i just use baby wipes to remove my make up. It works like a charm.Ladies? Do you prefer liquid make up remover or makeup remover wipes?
    Wipes.
    Vaseline is cheaper
    wipes
i usually use lotion.it is the best way and removes make-up by seconds
well wipes make ur eyes red and ichy
    soap!

Liquid foundation, powder, under eye concealer, blush, spray tan, illuminater, and eye makeup?

Is this too much to wear if it's applied nicely, and very well?

Illuminater is a complexion enhancer that gives you a natural glow.

Opinions?Liquid foundation, powder, under eye concealer, blush, spray tan, illuminater, and eye makeup?
light liquid foundation first just to even out your skin tone,

then concealer so the foundation doesn't rub it off....... then light powder to blend it with big brush.... then lightly brush on bronzer/blush ..... light eye color on top of brow and eyelid.... in crease do a darker color that brings out the color of your eyes..... a lil eye liner and blackest black for your lashes and you are ready girl!Liquid foundation, powder, under eye concealer, blush, spray tan, illuminater, and eye makeup?
Try to use a Foundation that has a powder finish. A eye cream at night to reduce the dark spots under your eyes, that way you don't need the concealer. A spray tan that includes the illumination. and the eye makeup... that way you won't have some many different products and it will cut the price.

E-mail me if you want some great ideas.
I think you should take out either the blush or spray tan, since you have the illuminater to give you a natural glow.

But you can wear whatever you want, and if you apply small amounts of each, it should look fine :)

but if I wore that, I think it would make me look cakey...
    a pic would help.

if it is very clear that you do this. then stop. but if we cant tell then youre okayy.
i say take away the spray tan.. you should be fine if its minimal
    TOO MUCH.
    thats what i wear lol
do not put on too much. if you use it correctly and lightly it will look great!
sounds heavy but if you know what your doing

    sure

  • Where can I find NYC women that use liquid compact makeup to try a new one for 10 days in exchange for $100 ?

I need women that normally use Shiseido's The Makeup Hydro Liquid Compact, Clinique's Superbalanced Compact Makeup, or Chanel's Teinte Innocence Naturelle Luminous compact, to try a new makeup for 10 days and give their opinion about it. They'll get paid $100 cash. Where can I post this to get responses from people that can give me referrals or actual customers? I am always looking for people for similar projects.Where can I find NYC women that use liquid compact makeup to try a new one for 10 days in exchange for $100 ?
try sites like makeupalley, specktra, and the like.

    Liquid foundation and powder makeup?

So I usually used liquid foundation on my face only. My question is why do some people used both (foundation %26amp; powder) on their face at the same time? Is it to set the foundation onto your face to make the foundation stay on longer?

    ???Liquid foundation and powder makeup?
lol..looks like you just answered your own question... =]

the pressed powder does set the liquid foundation so the foundation stays on longer...but it also gives a more flawless, smoother finish.

also people may find it easier to apply on pressed powder throughout the day, it is more convenient and easier to use, whereas with liquid foundation it is harder to apply throughout the day and can get quite messy!Liquid foundation and powder makeup?
Yeah, that's one reason, and pressed powder takes the shine away, and if you want a quick touch-up just dab on some pressed powder and it look great again! That's just a few of a million reasons. And yeah, you can also use loose and mineral powder of liquid foundation, just make sure your foundation is totally dry before you but it on. . . .

    Hope I Helped!!=]
The Body Shop has a All-in-one face base thats a foundation and powder finish....I use it its awesome!!!

    http://www.thebodyshopathome.com/web/ebi鈥?/a>
    i use both because:

    1. pressed powder just came with the liquid foundation. (rofl.)

    2. i think it gives more coverage

    3. it helps the foundation last for the whole school day.
Liquid if your trying to get more of a finish and powder if your trying to be more natural and just trying to get rid of a shine....
i only use a skin highlighter and bronzing powder,,,,andI am not young but my skin is flawless,,,too much goop clogs it up,,,and looks heavy
because powder sets the foundation so it doesn't leak off and it eliminates shine and oil too...

    Makeup Question? Liquid and powder?

I just started using the Maybelline I dream liquid mousse. I think they have a powder called the same thing. I am wondering if you use a liquid is it good to put a powder over it? Does it make it stay on better? Or give it a better feel? I had been using a mineral liquid and then brushing powder over it and I wasn't sure if I should do the same with this? Any advice?Makeup Question? Liquid and powder?
You usually will want to set your liquid foundation with a powder.

BUT! Make sure you're setting your foundation with an invisible or translucent powder, and NOT a powder foundation. Otherwise, you'll have 2 layers of foundation on, and that usually just ends up making you look cakey. Not what you want.

When I use liquid foundation, I set it with Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Face Powder w/ SPF 16 in Translucent Light. It helps control oil, keeps my foundation in place, and has SPF in it! It's a little pricey for a drugstore product ($13) but it's the best one I've used. Plus the little compact is really neat looking, so I don't mind pulling it out of my purse for touch ups throughout the day. :)

Hope this helps! :)Makeup Question? Liquid and powder?
Yes, putting a powder over a liquid foundation makes it last longer. When you do that it's called setting your foundation. It locks it into place so that it doesn't smear and shift all over the place. It ends up giving you a matte finish too. Good luck!
yess u should always put on pwder after fouundation , to:

    1. yes, make it look good.

2.yes, give it a better feel

    3. and, makes it stay on much longer..

it will tend to drip or fade or smudge after a bit.

    hope this helped.
I think if you add the powder, it stays on longer %26amp; gives a better appearance
Yes, it does make the makeup better by applying powder over liquid I do it all the time myself! %26lt;3
im not to fond of liquid it doesnt let my face breath when powder doesnt do that and if you put powder on top of liquid then its like putting 2 layers of make-up on that doesnt let your face breath
Tbf if you can, I'd definately use Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse. The best foundation EVER. But yeah, it is a good idea to use powder aswell, it'll make your skin feel softer (:
i usually use a powder to set in the liquid foundation. i see that it holds on alot longer. :-)

Which makeup do you recommend, liquid or powder?

I use a liquid foundation and a translucent powder over it.Which makeup do you recommend, liquid or powder?
The one that has the best coverage. I use liquid and powder on top, but I used to have this cool makeup in a tube that was like a cream and I didn't have to use the powder with it. Just depends on the coverage you want.Which makeup do you recommend, liquid or powder?
    Liquid -Elizabeth Arden
Depends on the look you are trying to acheive. I used tinted moisturizer for years, but here in AZ, it's too hot to do that, so I switched to using concealer and bare essentuals powder over it.

The tinted moisturizer doesn't provide alot of coverage. You can get liquids in various degrees of coverage and finishes. I suggest if you go with liquid, you put it on with a damp sponge to even out the coverage.
powder is more good for my skin!

    but sometimes liquid answeres better!
    powdeer
depends on your skin type; if you've got oily try mineral makeup (afterglowcosmetics) its amazing..if you have dry, then a liquid would be more suited for you, or tinted moisturzer (like vichy)

What makeup brand has good foundation(powder, liquid etc)?

i have sensitive and a combination of dry and oily skin and i don't know which makeup brand has better foundation?? i don't wanna look cakey but i do want coverage, thats not gonna be harsh on my skin!! i've tried bare minerals and laura geller and some drug store products but i wasn't happy with the results!! SO IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME, PLEASE DO SO!!!What makeup brand has good foundation(powder, liquid etc)?
Prescriptives has the best foundations. They can be custome blended to your skin to in a variety of formulas to work with your skin type and color. Its a bit pricey, but its worth it.What makeup brand has good foundation(powder, liquid etc)?
    BARE MINERALS!!
    MAC
it麓s going to be like 60 dollars and up ...Helena Rubinstein, Mac, Lancome, Dior
    Revlon Colourstay
    Mary Kay is the best.
I have both types also and I just use plain old Cover-Girl liquid foundation-lite amt.(cheap) but I also use Clinique Double-Powder face powder compact to control oil (not so cheap). Keep in mind i'm not a girly-girl so theres probably better advice out there. In fact, I will listen also!..........Glad I'm paying attention!! Thanks!!
Try Nicole Miller. It has a great range but can't be bought off the shelf but from Melaleuca, a direct marketing Company. Need details, contact me at kannagi1968@yahoo.com.sg

  • Do any mineral makeup brands have a liquid foundation? If so, what brand?

GloMinerals makes fabulous liquid foundations. It comes in sheer all the way to full coverage formulas. It's carried at beauty supply stores and at doctors offices. Once you find the colors for you, you can find it on EBay at great prices.Do any mineral makeup brands have a liquid foundation? If so, what brand?

i think physicians formula does. you can get it at walmart, kmart, stores like that.
I'm not sure what mineral makeup brands have liquid foundations (I know I've seen them, I just can't think of the brands); however, you can create your own liquid foundation by mixing any brand of powder mineral makeup with your favorite moisturizer! A Google search for ';liquid mineral foundation'; will also yield some results for you.
Raesin Images has a new liquid mineral makeup. Their website is www.raesinimages.com.

Illuminaire also makes a liquid mineral makeup, which they say (probably truthfully) is the first liquid mineral makeup in the world.
