Does anyone know any good makeup liquid foundation for under 10 dollars?

I have pretty much dry skin AND oily skin..it varies...

so i'm trying to buy a good foundation to even out my skin. Does anyone know a good brand with a reasonable price?? (my spending limit is 10 dollars but idealy lower.

the foundation i'm looking to buy shouldn't cause me to breakout..but I want it to last and not melt for 6 or so hours when I wear it..

..i'm open to any suggestions...so thank you to whoever answers!!!Does anyone know any good makeup liquid foundation for under 10 dollars?
revlon they do really good ones....good shade spectrum. Has SPF, doesnt last all day so you might have to reapply, i would put your own moisturiser on first and then some of the revlon foundation to prevent your skin drying out especially around the ey and nose area. Maybeline too but not great selection of shadesDoes anyone know any good makeup liquid foundation for under 10 dollars?
Covergirl one is good its like 10 or 11 dollars

maybeline dream mattee mousse foundation is good for $20 u wont really get a good one for 10
just get two more dollars

its worth is

covergirl trublend foundation :)

its worth $12
Sorry that I have no idea the exact names of them but look at Target:

They have

Loreal

Cover Girl

and so much more even professional products all for under $10!
e.l.f has mineral makeup for just $5! I've tried it and it actually works well! www.eyelipsface.com!

Question on face makeup..liquid or powder or both?

ok well first of all im a guy and yes i do wear face makeup just to cover up my blemishes. that being said im looking for something that looks natural and not overboard or cakey or anythin like that. currently ive been using regular loreal true match liquid and powder foundation and i think it just looks like toooooo much. not to mention it can make my face breakout at times. So im looking to improve that and hopefully find something that i can use less of and just get the coverage i need. i think im gonna buy a designer makeup either chanel dior or mac because i heard its the best. im just wondering what i should get. any specific products? Do i need to get liquid foundation and powder or would one be enough if so which? keep in mind i dont want it too look like too much. but if you can help me at all...please do, im lost when it comes to what products to buy.. thanks.Question on face makeup..liquid or powder or both?
the foundation your using is perfectly fine, in fact it competes with the best designers as well, its probably how your applying it and the foundation your using is too thin for acne coverage and no matter what foundation you use it will always be noticeable. try a thicker formula or concealer and dust a powder over it with a powder brush (go to the art store and get a ';mop brush'; or go to the drugstore and get a powder brush), do not use a puff with powder, it will make it look heavy. on my clients i use a thick concealor than comes in a compact (revlon/neutrogena has one), stay away from the ones in sticks since it has ingredients that will make it worst.

mineral makeup is fine, but you have to apply a heavy amount to get good coverage, just apply a thicker formula only the the problemed areas and dust it with powderQuestion on face makeup..liquid or powder or both?
i use liquid only but it comes off easily...i would use both
I don't like liquid, because it sinks into your pores and creates pimple. Maybe that's just me, but I defitnately prefer the powder.
i would stick to just liquid b/c both gives that caked on look. the brand shoudnt matter too much if you match your skin tone right. i've always used cover girl. try mixing your foundation in the morning with a facial lotion and put it on that way (i always put about a dimes worth or less of foundation and a little less lotion and mix the two). it will cover well but it'll look lighter and less noticeable, plus your face will stay moisturized and your pores won't get as clogged! :)
um i use cover girl blemish hider called fresh complexion it's only about 5 dollaroos and is awesome i have very dry skin too and usually make up is cakey too but this one works pretty well for the price
well a lot of make up companies are coming out with the mineral coverage which is suppose to have great coverage and improves your skin while you wear it and it looks very natural and lets your skin breathe.
bear minerals

they are thee best

they look really natural on

it will probably help the break outs too

you can get it at ulta

i recommend you don't get the starter kit

because it comes with blush and bronzer...

something that i don't think you need

haha
Women can tell if a man is wearing makeup. Have you seen ever seen Zac Efron? I hope you dont wear as much as he does.

Do you think mineral makeup is better than liquid?

I have sensitive combination skin and it makes me itch and break out. The liquid is better for me.Do you think mineral makeup is better than liquid?
Mineral makeup is good for your skin. It only covers up what you want covered up without creating a mask. In the long run, it's healthier for your skin. It allows it to breath %26amp; it doesn't clog pores.

Liquid makeup creates a mask over your skin to make everyone one colour createing a cake like effect. It clogs up the pores %26amp; damages the skin with continued use.

:]Do you think mineral makeup is better than liquid?
liquid make-up has a lot of chemicals that are bad for your skin...

mineral make-up(completely different from bronzer) is always the best choise if you have any type of problem skin, dry, oily, acne, etc.

if you have good skin anyways it really just comes down to personal preference

as far as the look, mineral powders blend much better than liquids
YES! Definitely! I just switched to mineral makeup about two months ago, and my skin has been so clean and clear. I think it just gives you are smoother softer look. Plus, I think it blends better than any liquid makeup. You would still use any concealer, like under your eyes, and put the minerals on with a flat type foundation brush.

There are so many great brands out now. But I am using the brand Bella Terra. There is an identical brand Bella Pierre. You can find it rather cheap on ebay.
It depends on your body and how you respond to it. I've heard many women say that it makes them breakout. I use mineral, Studio Fix and liquid foundation and I like all three. Mineral makeup is advertised as natural, but it has preservatives just like all makeup. Check out makeupalley.com and look at the opinions from other women. It's a great site!
it depends...

for the face

use foundation then mineral makeup (bronzer) its great both ways!

Hope That Helps!

:)
yes because it doesnt clog into da pores like liquid..and it decreases da appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
mineral, yes

liquid is hard for people to find the right shade, sometimes

but it looks much natural
yes. its all natural and doesnt cake or give you a makeup line along your jaw and is better for oily skin.
yes...the minerals are good for your skin...

  • Liquid foundation makeup ?

what kind of liquid foundation works the best to not clog poors and give pimples and also helps dry skin? I have reallllyyyyy bad dry skin on my face.....Liquid foundation makeup ?
THE BEST AND MOST NATURAL DRUGSTORE BRAND (And doesn't test on Animals!)

Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Your Skin Foundation, ~$13.00

Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Truly Translucent Loose Powder, ~$13.00

Buy at a local Ulta, Jewell-Osco (Super Value), Duane Reade, Rite Aid, CVS Pharmacy, or Long Drugs stores. Also sold at ulta.com, duanereade.com, and cvs.com.

    http://www.sallyhansennaturalbeauty.com/鈥?/a>Liquid foundation makeup ?
it sounds like you're descriping my skin condition. the best, and only, great foundation i've ever used is the one i'm currently using called Hourglass Mineral Liquid Foundation. It's amazing and available in any Sephora store or on the Sephora website. It covers well and has a primer built-in so that the foundation won't make your dry skin visible. If you can, go into Sephora and ask for them to put it on you and I guarantee you'll fall in love.
I absolutely love the mineral makeup it is way better than liquid foundations. Cover All is good, but as far as not producing pimples the best is to wash your face morning and night, and if you can do not wear makeup on certain days to help your skin get those natural oils.
The secret to great makeup is great skin, why don't you try the polypeptide face cream. It is for 50 year olds and up, but I am 22 and love it, it is the only thing that actually works.

Then whatever foundation you put on your face will be better.

Drugstore makeup comparable to Estee Lauder Double Wear liquid foundation? ANy great HEAVY COVERAGE foundation?

I'm looking to the same effect as Estee Lauder double wear foundation. So basically, I just can't afford 40 bucks for makeup anymore....Are there any great drugstore brand liquid foundations with heavy coverage that last all day??Drugstore makeup comparable to Estee Lauder Double Wear liquid foundation? ANy great HEAVY COVERAGE foundation?
So sorry, nothing is comparable under that price. Products are expensive for a reason and if something is really good, people will always try to sell it at a higher price.

Clinque superfit might be slightly cheaper than that, but just as good.

bareminerals offers great coverage too.Drugstore makeup comparable to Estee Lauder Double Wear liquid foundation? ANy great HEAVY COVERAGE foundation?
    Revlon Colourstay Liquid Foundation.

    I %26lt;3 it !
MAC studio fix fluid or revlon

    Best makeup/liquid ';Foundation';.......?

    -for all flaws?Best makeup/liquid ';Foundation';.......?
    Maybelline instant age rewind foundation.

It both firms and radiates, and doesn't feel too heavy or sticky or too light. It also does a good job covering flaws. I have used it for about a year now, started using it b/c I needed to cover up acne (hate that word!!) and everything I was trying wasn't working.

This does what it claims to and more. You can buy it at Walgreens for about $8. But, sometimes, they'll have a buy one get one half off (bogo) on Maybelline products. You ought to try it. It's worth a shot anyway! Plus, it's SPF 15. Hope this helps!! :)Best makeup/liquid ';Foundation';.......?
MAYBELLINE PURE MAKEUP FOUNDATION, all the way baby!
i use bare minerals and i love it!! it isnt liquid, but it is really light and works well on my skin!! =)
I use Bare Minerals and its fantastic! I haven't used liquid foundation in 6 years I suggest you try it. You get much better coverage and as a added benefit, its good for you skin. :)
    MAC Studio Tech

Revlon skin matching makeup?? (liquid foundation)?

anyone tried it?? if so how did it work?Revlon skin matching makeup?? (liquid foundation)?
i've tried almay and it sucked because it wasn't dark enough for my skin. but revlon has 2 more colors, and it really blends a lot better. and no, it's not just lotion. It matches the skin color...you can see the beads transform to match. but it's very very sheer coverage. it's just to even out your skin tone, not to be used as concealer.Revlon skin matching makeup?? (liquid foundation)?
im guessing it basically a lotion and they make you think it blends to your skin color but its really just your skin color behind the lotion, get it?

How do I apply this liquid eyeliner? (First time using makeup)?

Can you give me the steps to applying this liquid eyeliner? And also how to I get some smokin' eyes? :]How do I apply this liquid eyeliner? (First time using makeup)?
    Use google, and type in

';Picture tutorial to apply liquid eye liner'; :)

It's better than asking for it over text, pictures so better, also

youtube works as well! :PHow do I apply this liquid eyeliner? (First time using makeup)?
i recommend using liquid on top only. if you want to wear something on the bottom i would go with pencil. but to apply liquid eyeliner you need to close the eye you are about to apply it to and open the other one. you start at the inside of the eye and go outwards. if you do it slow it is easier. (shake up the tube before applying) then you need to wait like 2 or 3 minutes until you are positive it is dry. then you do it the other eye. it is fairly simple just dont rush it.
I would start with cake eyeliner before you move on to liquid.

Personally, I like the Pop Beauty brand.

Then, get yourself a bent eyeliner brush like this one:

    http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?鈥?/a>

They sell them at Target (Sonia Kashuk has one that's good.)

I don't know how much disposable income you have but you can check out these:

    http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?鈥?/a>
first put your elbow on a hard surface and relax your hand gently on your upper cheek-then carefully start in the lower middle of your eyes and the liquid liner will do its thing. its best if your begin with short strokes.remember practice makes perfect!
um if you have never put on makeup before then you should master on putting on the pencil eyeliner..then it would be easier for you..%26lt;3
You just line your eyelids. I don't line my lower eyelids only upper. I don't care for smokin eyes.
if it's easier for you i would go with the felt tip eyeliner..

    it works really good

Which makeup foundation is the best? liquid or powder? which brand?

may i know do you like liquid foundation or powder foundation? what type of brands you like for makeup foundation? thanksWhich makeup foundation is the best? liquid or powder? which brand?
Though it can be messy to use at times, I prefer powder foundation (I use Bare Minerals). It feels light, balanced, and evenly enhances my face. I just use liquid foundation now to occasionally cover up the dark circles underneath my eyes.Which makeup foundation is the best? liquid or powder? which brand?
I worked as a makeup artist, and my advice is all depends on your preference. Liquid makeup works, but now with mineral makeup it works better in this hot weather. It also stays off your clouth.

My advice to you go to department store and ask for a complimentary foundation trial, and than you can decide for yourself .
I use a little bit of both use a light foundation that goes on thin and doesn't feel like a mask also my skin has a shine to it so i use a powder to finish the job. Both of those products are from Mark(Avon)
    for acne,fair complexion,tanning,sunburn,hair problems

marks, spots n other skin problems u can refer to dis website

    http://beautyhomeremedies.blogspot.com/

it has got so many tips n free beauty samples

for curing acne and other skin problems

If you have dry skin you should not use powder foundation. Liquid foundation is the best. napoleon is a good brand.

This morning I spilled Neutrogena oil-free liquid makeup remover and some of it got on the bottom of my phone. It seeped into the main circle button on the front....and now it doesn't respond. Everything else works. It charges, touchscreen works, top buttons works - just the main button does not respond when pressed. Someone said to leave it turned off. I am doing that, but how can I make sure it's going to dry??? and will my main button ever work again???Spilled makeup remover liquid on my iphone...how do I fix it?

It's good to have warranty for that kinda stuff. Blowdry it and put it in the sun.

Are we allowed to carry makeup on flights? No liquid bottles but only compact cream foundations and lipstick.?

You can carry your makeup (including liquids) in your carryon. ALL liquids in your carryon must fit in a 1quart zip top bag and must be 3.4 ounces/100ml or less. You can read more about what is and is not allowed at http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/p鈥?/a>

Lip stick that's in a tube is not considered a liquid and does not need to be in the bag. If the compact is solid you should be ok too, however, you may want to put it in the zip top bag just to be safe. Are we allowed to carry makeup on flights? No liquid bottles but only compact cream foundations and lipstick.?
just to be safe I would put it in a ziplock bag... I went to FL with a small liquid lip gloss tube and I got pulled outta line and they wanted me to go through again if I wanted to keep it.... it took long the first time so I said ';toss it'; and medicine like Dayquil needs to be a bag too... trust me :oS

have a good flight :o)Are we allowed to carry makeup on flights? No liquid bottles but only compact cream foundations and lipstick.?
Yes, you can. However you will be required to seperate them into a plastic bag. check this site for updated security information: http://www.tsa.gov or this site:

    Good luck with the trip!
at some airports, they let u carry liquid if it fits inside a certain sized ziploc bag (i saw it on a poster at an airport) im sure compact cream foundations and lipstick would fit in the ziploc bag but it really depends on the airport

oh yeah, and i think u can bring it if it's not in a carry-on bag

    GOOD LUCK! =]
    anything other than gels,hard perfumes
I think that should be fine. As long as its not liquidy.

    they confiscating my hand sanitizer!!

    grrr...

but I've brought lip balm so if its not liquid, it should be fine.

Hiya a quick question about makeup.. liquid foundation?

Helloooo.. i am blessed with good skin..

but my only problem is that i had bad dark circles..

Under my eyes.. and they are soo noticablee..

Its imbaressing.. Even my fat teachers noticed them today!! (prick)

I need some advice on foundation.. i only need some for under my eyes..

not my wholllee facee... Any help on product please.. Thank you xHiya a quick question about makeup.. liquid foundation?
go to arbonne.com and order the cream concealer. it's the best stuff ever. Then if u get some of the eye brightener that will help also.Hiya a quick question about makeup.. liquid foundation?
you need to buy a foundation with a orange base ( ithink that's it sorry cant really remember green is for redness so yh i think orange base if for dark circles)
find a foundation that matches your whole face, then also get the shade that is one shade lighter. dot the lighter shade beneath your eyes %26amp; then blend. then apply the all over foundation. this will help camouflage the dark circles. also you can wet spoons then put them in the freezer for about twenty minutes then apply them to your eyes. this will help your eyes look more rested.
    Take a concealer brush.

Use a corrector for your skin - Peach or pink toned.

Then use a concealer that is EXACTLY the same shade as your skin and blend well.
Hi, you actually want to get a moderate coverage concealor that is actually a shade DARKER than your skintone. First apply an eye cream so your concealor will go on smoother and not look dry and cakey. Double Wear concealor by Estee Lauder is a great concealor. I recommend putting on some eyeshadow and mascara to distract the attention away from under your eyes. also you can play with a highlighter on the top of your cheekbones to lighten it up.

I am traveling from MT to CO and I need to know if I can have makeup (liquid) and eye drops in my purse.?

YOU ABSOLUTELY CANNOT carry-on liquid or gel makeup on an airliner over the United States.

My wife had all her makeup confiscated on a recent flight to Denver.

    The TSA regulations are completely without logic, but ';What ya gonna do?';

One quarter ounce of makeup is not going to take down an airliner.

Put your makeup in your luggage if you wish to keep it.

The United States Department of Homeland Security has determined that terrorists will not attack an airliner without their makeup. I feel better already.I am traveling from MT to CO and I need to know if I can have makeup (liquid) and eye drops in my purse.?
no you can not put this in your purse, but it can go in your checked on bagsI am traveling from MT to CO and I need to know if I can have makeup (liquid) and eye drops in my purse.?
No liquids on the plane except medicine under certain circumstances.

Don't think you can sneak it on.
    probably not...they are liquids...
I flew to denver two days ago.

They allow lipstick and chapstick (solids) but not any liquid makeup.

In the two airports I flew out of, they only check your bag at security.

They do not search you at the gate. Its all honor-system once

you pass through security. And I don't think they can detect non-metallic items in your pockets at security.

My recommendtion is to check anything you're doubtful about.

They do have some allowances for prescriptions and other ';medical'; required things.
You should call your airport and check. It doesn't seem like this will be a problem.
    Only if you're driving.
No..........check with the TSA before you leave. Some of the restrictions are loosening.
I would put them in my checked luggage to be safe. I will be flying to Denver soon, myself and I think that is what I will do.

Which kind of makeup?Liquid or powder?

Okay so I use powder but my skin gets oily after awhile and I sorta want that smooth look but will the liquid give me that look? because some girls I see they always have that look. From your opinion, which one do yew like or works better? This question is for girls if yew didn't realize, lol.Which kind of makeup?Liquid or powder?
    I have very oily skin.

Powder covers it.. So just apply powder when it gets shiny.

That's what I doWhich kind of makeup?Liquid or powder?
well powder is basically used for setting your makeup. so find some good liquid makeup(i use clinque cause its resonable pricing) and see what it does then put powder over that and it should give you the look you describe. but since your skin is oily after a while use an oil free mostruizer to keep your skin pretty. i hope i helped! message me if you need more info.
I personally think that liquid will give you a smooth look. Plus blush tends to look great on liquid base. Powder has never really worked for me. It's just way too dry and it feels odd on my skin. I recommend you purchase a liquid one.

    鈾
If you have oily skin you can always put on powder to hide the oiling. Liquid increases the look of oilyness if you have oily skin. So i suggest powder all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well, i use powder the Natural Minerals. It works best on my skin and all u have to do is find the right shade for your skin and it blends in perfectly, without leaving your skin oily. Try it.

BUT most drugstore chains have their own version of it, with identical ingredients..it's dermatologist recommended and very very gentle....look for it...CVS, Walgreens, etc. all have their own versions of it, right next to the brand name on the shelf.worth looking into.

Is it okay to sleep with makeup on? (Just liquid eyeliner)?

I've been reading posts and they say it's really bad to sleep in makeup because it clogs all your pores and stuff. But sometimes, when I wear liquid eyeliner, it looks too good to remove. So is it okay to sleep with just liquid eyeliner on? Just to save the hassle and time in the morning of putting it on again? Is it okay to sleep with makeup on? (Just liquid eyeliner)?
If you want to risk pimples and pore clogging. The skin on your eyes is probably the most delicate skin on your face. Clogging the skin there is just as bad as the rest of body. Eyeliner doesn't take that long to apply. Save your skin; it's the only skin you'll have for the rest of your life.Is it okay to sleep with makeup on? (Just liquid eyeliner)?
Besides clogging your pores, it can harbor bacteria too. It's really best to just take it off instead of risking getting an infection in the worst case scenario. But hey! At least this way you'll perfect your liner! This way it won't be a big deal when you put it on. Good luck!
    no it's not

    it's dangerous

becuase the black eyeliner will get on your pillow

and if it's white, you will have to wash it, if you are not lucky, it can never be removed
No, its hazardous. And easy to take off! Just buy the pre moistened face wipes with makeup remover. The eyeliner can get into your eyes, and it may cause zits also.

No you might get an eye infection.
No way! It could get in your eyes.
once in a while is alright, not all the time.

No my older sister done this and ended up with an eye infection

    xx
wouldn't advise it. can cause all kinds of infections and problem!

  • Liquid latex makeup safety?

I have been using liquid latex as a brush on effect for a few years now. Specifically RD-407 which i found out after using is for making masks not for setting on the skin. So i'm wondering if there is a reason this is not used on skin and also is there a specific type for skin use? I'm aware of silicon rubbers as well, but i'm more interested in liquid latex use.

If I have a product that is liquid, who do I call to get an analysis and find out the chemical makeup?

This depends greatly upon exactly what this ';product'; is.

A simple industrial solvent could probably be identified by any organic chemistry lab at a local college or university. Depending upon your location, there may or may not be any commercial analytical labs.

If your product is a specialized or proprietary mixture, you may have a very difficult time determining the components. For example many perfumes are difficult to ';reverse engineer';. This would require a very specialized lab run by someone who clearly knows the business.

    Applying green liquid Hallowen makeup?

Help. I have Ben Nye liquid makeup in green. I practiced last night for my Alien costume. It doesn't go on even enough. I used a makeup sponge because after doing some research I saw thats the best way. However, it looks very splotchy and uneven. I want it to look good and even. Any makeup experts out there who are professionals or have done stage makeup? This stuff dries pretty quick and seems like you can't go over it more to make it evenApplying green liquid Hallowen makeup?
If you are trying to get your whole face green then there are a few things you can try...

you can try and put a bit of face moistureizer on your spong before you start working with the makeup and that might help to keep it moist as you spread it on your face.

you can also try investing in a makeup brush instead of a sponge. A makeup brush won't absorb as much of your makeup and might make it go on smoother.

Many liquid makeups are meant to be applied with an airbrush for best results and therefore dry VERY fast. You might be better off looking for a cream based makeup that will go on smoother and easier. You can find this at most party supply stores this time of year, or a costume shop...

Good luck!Applying green liquid Hallowen makeup?
Liquid makeup is hard to work with. It takes practice. The main thing I've learned is, not putting it on too thick. Softly applying the makeup should help. Let it dry and then you can touch up if needed.

    Have fun
I hate liquid, this is one of the downfalls. Why not try getting some green eye pencil and using that instead? It's much easier to handle.

How do you clean liquid foundation off a makeup brush ?

I am here to help. I am a professional make up artist and have over 8 yrs of salon and day spa experience. I see some say: use soap and water';----wrong answer. Soap does not kill the bacteria living in your Kabuki brush. A Kabuki has hair bristles. So wether it is synthetic (fake) or real; bacteria from the face can get on your brush. Secondly, a Kabuki brush is designed for use with mineral powder make up-not liquid. For liquid make up application try using a make up sponge.

Purchase some cosmetic brush cleaner. This can be bought at either sally beauty or Sephora. When cleaning your brush use cool water and lay on a clean dry wash clothe. Let air dry.How do you clean liquid foundation off a makeup brush ?
Not even antibacterial soap would work? When I need to wash a brush I lather it up with antibacterial soap and let it sit for a couple of minutes before giving it a thorough rinse. For my Clarisonic face brush I also sometimes soak it in hydrogen peroxide then rinse it. Seems a lot cheaper to me! Report Abuse
How do you clean liquid foundation off a makeup brush ?
Bad best answer. Soaps are just fine. People use Kabukis to apply liquid makeup to ';buff'; it on in a sheer application. Sponges, even if wet, soak up and waste a lot of product. Report Abuse

Yes,soap and water do work. She wasn't asking about a Kabuki brush, which is the big round brush used to put on mineral powder makeup. She was taling about a foundation makeup brush which looks like a paint brush. Report Abuse

Regardless, I have one of those big poofy brushes as well and antibacterial soap seems like it would work on any kind of brush as long as it penetrated all of the bristles. I'm just not willing to pay like $15 for some special cleaner when antibacterial soap works just fine ;P Report Abuse

Like other people have said, soap and water work fine. I use a brush cleaner, that I have made on my own, to clean my brushes everyday. I just spray it on my brushes and wipe it on a towel and once a week I deep clean them with baby shampoo and let them air dry. Report Abuse

Also, don't listen to ';the best answer'; person. You can use any brush for what ever you like. Sponges don't really work that great plus you have to keep throwing them out because of all the bacteria that gets in them. Report Abuse

Ive been using mild soap to clean out my brushes for years.. just rinse well, air dry.. no biggie.. you could buy brush cleanser but i wouldnt spend that money when it really isnt necessary. Report Abuse

I think this answer is just trying to get you to buy stuff. Soap works don't get scammed. Report Abuse

lol ';soap does not kill the bacteria'; what do you think soap is for? somebody should let the surgeons know they ought to be steralizing with cosmetic brush cleaner because soap just doesn't do the trick. haha wow. Report Abuse

Anti bacterial soap is fine when cleaning brushes, I have many friends that are make up artists. I clean my brushes off by using make up remover face wash first to wash off all the makeup and then using liquid soap, like softsoap to clean the bacteria. There is no need to waste money on cleaners. Report Abuse

i agree with everyone else, soap works just fine. also, to clean off powder blush, foundation, etc.(nothing liquid), u can get some baby shampoo and rinse it in it... really works Report Abuse

i have a mac foundation brush which i sometimes use for my liquid foundation - is it worth buying the mac cleanser for like £13 or something? Report Abuse

you can buy brush cleaner at sephora stores
Put hot water in a bowl.

Add alot of antibacterial soap in the water.

Put the brush in and push down on the bowl, and it all comes out.
Just wash the brush using baby shampoo or a mild soap. Gently squeeze out the water using a small towel or a paper towel.
wash it with a gentle soap and let it air dry.

Will my skin be okay if I use the neutrogena skin clearing liquid makeup n the neutrogena healthy skin powder?

I am going shopping for new make up and i was on the computer and found that neutrogena makeup was the best for me. So for foundation im planning on buying the Skin clearing liquid makeup(to get rid of my bad blemishes) and for the powder I am planning on buying the neutrogena healthy skin loose powder. if I use these two products together will that stop the liquid makeup from clearing my blemishes?. and do you think it will be okay for me to use these two products together?

    EXAMPLE:

    1. wash my face

2.apply neutrogena skin clearing liquid makeup

3.apply neutrogena healthy skin loose powder.

    4. apply other makeup

^^ will this plan be okay^^?Will my skin be okay if I use the neutrogena skin clearing liquid makeup n the neutrogena healthy skin powder?
it all sounds really good but you should use a toner and mosturizer after you wash your face it will really help!! neutrogena has a really good fach wash, toner and mosturizer and it works really well!! you should be fine using the liquid makeup and powder together, if you do have any ?'s about it you should go to neutrogena.com but you should be ok! hope it all works out for you! :)Will my skin be okay if I use the neutrogena skin clearing liquid makeup n the neutrogena healthy skin powder?
i don't know, but instead of all that, just use neutrogena wave

it works on the very first day you use it
yea that will be fine however may not clear skin right away because your not allowing time for yourr skin to absorb it
Neutrogena skin clearing liquid makeup does not have enough acne fighting ingredients and the loose powder has bismuth oxychloride that could make your face worse.

You shouldn't depend on your makeup to clear your skin.

Now you should use Neutrogena Advanced Skin Care Treatment or Murad as a part of your cleaning regiment.

A makeup product you could try is Physicians Formula.

It has good products to cover and conceal without causing more breakouts.
Sound good, I doubt is will do anything bad to you skin

    Neutrogena rocks!

Just make sure that you test the product on your arm first before pitting it on your face

I used a new foundation awhile back and I was allergic to it a broke out REALLY badly... I took me forever to get my face back under control
so if you wanna just get rid of blemishes, you should just use one brand. i mean, using 2 different things, won't it ruin your face even more? you got to be careful. if you have it in your department stores or grocery stores, try this olay total effects. =) my sister uses it. and it has a very great effect! maybe you should try that -^^- you can get rid of your blemishes if you use that. =)
i would be careful because chemicals in each items sometimes can't be mixed and you can have a bad reaction to it.............you should use less products on your face its more healthy for you !

  • My MAKEUP {liquid foundation} MAY Contain ''TITANIUM DIOXIDE''?

i LOVE this makeup !!!!! but after reading the ingredients am just super scared ::::

    ;;yIKES:::

what is it ????My MAKEUP {liquid foundation} MAY Contain ''TITANIUM DIOXIDE''?
Titanium Dioxide is a metal, used in makeup, paint, or things because it has a bright white color that is very shiny.

    Should you be scared???

I don't think so. first of all titanium used almost exclusive for metal parts in the human body. It's nontoxic, and it's not rejected by the body. If you put it on your skin, it won't harm it.

In fact i have 3 metal plates in my arm (really bad wrist break) that are made out almost 100% titanium. They also use titanium dioxide to bond metal to bone.

you can read more of it's uses in the wikipedia articles. My MAKEUP {liquid foundation} MAY Contain ''TITANIUM DIOXIDE''?
It is a pigment used extensively in plastics and other applications for its UV resistant properties where it acts as a UV absorber, efficiently transforming destructive UV light energy into heat.

I have bad acne and breakout. I don't really use liquid makeup everyday. I heard new makeup call bare mineral.?

I want to know if bare mineral is good or not because I saw on tv a few time but want to know if you like it or kind of or not. I have awful breakout with acne. I try some product that will help like proactiv, clean and clear, and other acne product but nothing work. it keep getting worse on my face so I want something to help it clear on my face. I haven't use muard but I heard that they are good acne product to use. Do you use bare mineral or other makeup product that help cover acne because I know some do but I don't know many makeup as well.I have bad acne and breakout. I don't really use liquid makeup everyday. I heard new makeup call bare mineral.?
Ok Bare Minerals is definitely NOT the way to go with acne.

Two products that are cheap and work WONDERS for bad skin are:

Covergirl Oil Control Foundation- it is a liquid but it's light and has wonderful coverage, especially when used with the corresponding powder.

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse- my ABSOLUTE favorite. It's not a liquid, and you don't even have to wear a powder with it. It comes in lots of shades, and covers up redness and splotches so good!

The best thing about these products are that they are cheap and can be found in drugstores and Wal Mart, and they actually work. Hope I helped you out! Good luck!I have bad acne and breakout. I don't really use liquid makeup everyday. I heard new makeup call bare mineral.?
i dont know about bare minerals but have u used the new clean and clear advantage?I love it! it works so good!i have had bad acne too and tried everything but this by far has been the best..i know u said u tried clean and clear but this is the new one clean and clear advantage =)
if ur up to other options id say google Dinair Airbrush Makeup...its crazy amazing! It covers everything and makes my skin look flawless..its also all water based so its not bad for ur skin cause it sits on the surface and doesnt clog ur pores...ive been using it for the past 2 years and i LOVE it...anywho, hope i helped...=)
yes try bare minerals or else sheer cover and if you find them out of your price range just try some kind of mineral makeup because seriously liquid makeup is so bad for your skin it will make it completely worse and mineral makeup is actually GOOD for your skin!
Try BeautiControl Wet/Dry Pressed Powder for more coverage or the regular loose powder. all BeautiControl makeup is mineral and its wonderful!!!. they also have great acne products called Skinlogics Clear. www.beautipage.com/tmeans
    try nature's pantry: http://www.naturespantrypa.com/retailer/鈥?/a>

it's all natural, non tested on animals, plus GREAT for your skin.
I honestly hate Bare Minerals. It makes my skin irritated and it makes me breakout more. But we all have different skin types so it might work for you but not me.
i use bare minerals it is light and helps if you are oily. But the absolute best foundation to cover acne and control sebum. Chanel Mat Lumiere it drys to a powder and is absolutely matte gorgeous. A bit expensive but a little goes a long way and so worth it! Also try using cetaphil to help with your oily skin and breaking out. remember wash at least 2 times a day to help cut down bacteris on your skin. Never sleep without washing your face...Oh yeah and the best acne product that i have ever used and literally healed my skin is this link %26gt; http://cgi.ebay.com/TEEN-Acne-Kick-ss-In鈥?/a>

He sells a miracle really i had bad chest and back acne. I am clear now thanks to his products!
I used to use Bare Minerals. It covers excellent if you build it up and it never looks cakey.

However, you need to make sure that you are not allergic to bismuth oxychloride in the bare minerals, because if you are it'll make your breakout much worse. What you should do is get a sample from the store and test it on a hidden area of your face (like the side of your chin) for a week.

It does not clog pores, however it will not clear up your acne either.

Btw, how long did you use proactiv before you quit? For me it took a good 4 months for my face to become clear. Maybe you should go to the dermatologist and get a prescription-strength medication to permanently get rid of your acne if your acne is extremely bad.
I've been using bareMinerals for a few years now, and I, too have acne. It doesn't help CLEAR your skin, but it is much, much more gentle on your face than the harsh, chemical-laced make-up you find in a department store. It also doesn't clog pores, which is why it's good for people with acne. Just make sure you wash your face every night before bed, because trust me, wearing makeup to bed even one night gives me terrible break-outs.

If you're willing to pay the price for the make-up, I say do it. It also works really well and lasts all day.

Oh, and I recommend the Bisque Concealer, it's excellent for hiding blemishes. I don't even use foundation, I just cover the spots that need to be covered with the Bisque.
I would try the dinair airbrush as well ! but its preety expensive. It would be the best way to cover acne. Or u can try the lise water powder foundation for something cheaper !. Just dont go with liquid foundations if u have sensitive skin. Its not good for the skin either way

and i know what u mean about the acne thing. Its like you try almost everything and nothing seems to work ! but dont worry ur not alone. THERES MANY many people who have acne too. However dont buy murad either u have to occasionaly pay for the murad stuff if ur in the murad club. But their acne spot treatment was preety good. Im using this prescription the doctor gave me for acne. and so far i havent got many breakouts from that. If ur really worried about the acne consult a doctor ok?

Girls...what is your favorite or best makeup liquid foundation...ive tried so many but they all come out bad..

also do you have any recommendations for any good facial cleansers or moisturizers? i need a whole makeup/ facial care makeover and im not really sure what to try..thanks =)Girls...what is your favorite or best makeup liquid foundation...ive tried so many but they all come out bad..
best cleanser and moisturizer is by dermalogica you can find them at a spa or dermatologist office go to dermalogica.com and you can find the closest one to you

for make up i love jane iredale mineral makeup its all mineral all natural... i could never where make up before i found this one because 1) i could never find the right shade and 2) i would always break out no matter what i tried

i've been using both these products for 1 yr now and have seen such a dramatic differenceGirls...what is your favorite or best makeup liquid foundation...ive tried so many but they all come out bad..
i use loreal true match liquid foundation, i have to get a shade lighter though, so that you wont see those weird neck lines. I also use Maybelline Dream Matte mousse, it works real good. and after that i lighty brush some Bare minerals over my cheeks for that 'perfect shine' (:
My favorite liquid or cream foundation is by Aularale Cosmetics - www.aularale.com/7002. It matches my skin tone and has a very natural look and feel. They also have an excellent skin care line.
i like the cream foundations, their expensive but they make my skin feel soooo soft!!!
I personally use mark bran ';invisible touch perfecting concealer'; its $5 from mark. its a great cream-to-powder. So it fills in great, sets an even tone, but is not heave on your face. If you like an under set for that you can gte the ';speedway do everything makeup'; which is great to base as well touch up. I have a lot of different moisterizers and creams from avon I could suggest.. I can let you know what does what, and which helps which skin tone best. If you want, go to my website below and click on contact me, that will send a message to my personal email and you can let me know exactly what youre looking for, I can let you know what products are best for different issues, and you can either get products through me, or I can tell you which other products will do well in their place.
As a professional skin care expert for over 10 years, I have come to know and recommend a natural company.

    Bee Luscious Cosmetics - www.beeroyalproducts.com

Their liquid powder mineral foundation is excellent and it easily blends with your skin tones for a perfect flawless finish, the best skincare routine is their

    Papaya enzyme foam wash

    Skin Vitality Mineral Mist

    Look Fabulous
depends on the type of skin that you have. is it oily or dry? what color is your skin? do you have acne? these are the things to take into consideration when buying products. can you visit a makeup counter?

i use avon porefection on my skin, its a cleanser and toner for oily skin. i also use oil of olay moisturizer. for my powder/foundation I use Prescriptives virtual skin. Its very light and non-clogging.
I use Revlon Colorstay Active (Lite) everyday and set it by dusting colorstay powder. I have combination skin which is very sensitive and which clogs easily with anything. This foundation has been very very nice to my skin. No adverse effects at all. It gives you light to medium coverage. It stays put in humidity, hot weather. Looks and feels like you have no makeup on. I have not tried the other colorstay versions so I don't know about those. But this one is worth trying. Be sure to MOISTURIZE your face atleast 10-15 min. before you apply it. It makes a lot of difference. Otherwise it is a little tricky to blend. Apply it on one area at a time so it will be easier to blend. If you get the technique, it is wonderful. Read the reviwes on www.makeupalley.com
I use Prescriptives (it comes from Dilliards) and they match your skin tone perfectly. They actually mix it there.

Dior Skin Forever Extreme Wear Flawless Makeup or Estee Lauder Nutritious Vita-Mineral Liquid Makeup?

im 16 years old, with a moderate to low level of acne. i've had acne for about 5 years now and i haven't really used any type of foundation to cover it up. i've got a wedding coming up (at the end of June) where i want to go with flawless skin: no acne scars, oily skin or spots showing through. ive researched both these foundation on the net and got some info about them from a friend too, but i want know which of the two i should go for.

if you can recommend any other foundations, that would be soo help full!!

Thank YouDior Skin Forever Extreme Wear Flawless Makeup or Estee Lauder Nutritious Vita-Mineral Liquid Makeup?
not trying to be mean...but you have a few months to work on the problem...you can't ';cover' it up...so i would invest in some proactive-it really does work...anywayzzzzz..both those foundations are good...the EL will provide better coverage...but both are really light foundations-you can go to a dept. store and actually try them both and see which one is better for you......or maybe they can suggest something else for you.....(personally i do not like the MAC the poster above suggested)Dior Skin Forever Extreme Wear Flawless Makeup or Estee Lauder Nutritious Vita-Mineral Liquid Makeup?
Both of them give you a luminous very dewy gorgeous look but dont cover much. Foundations that give you this look attract attention with the lighting to scars and such. Go for a more matt look like, the MAC Studio Fix Fluid. Great at covering! OR if you want a dewy look make sure to use a MATT concealer beffore you use the DIOR founation.

How can you get liquid makeup off of white shirts?

The other day i was trying to get liquid makeup out of the tube but it was clogged and i put my finger over it and it splattered everywhere. all over my shirt. like its all over it. its ridiculous. once it happened i tried to wipe it off but it didnt help, so i bleached it and put it in the washer and ive also tried to put shout on it and a couple other things i tried to wash it like 5 times. and it seems to come out a little bit but it's still really noticable. can someone please tell me how to get it out? its a brand new shirt too, it was the first time i wore it. :(How can you get liquid makeup off of white shirts?
Take some liquid dishwasher soap, dab a little onto the stain, then rub around the fabric together. Then take any sort of baby wipes, wipe it inside and out [of the shirt]. Then, if you have some Tide-To-Go, or some Oxy-Clean surface cleaning liquids [or any cleaning surface liquids], rub rub rub, rinse gently with water, then wash and bleach! =D Enjoy! xDHow can you get liquid makeup off of white shirts?
if you let your shirt soak in warm water with soap (any soap) for about 10 minutes, then get an old toothbrush with some soap, then you just scrub and rinse with water while your still scrubbing. if it's still there you can always just bleach it

  • Is wearing liquid eyeliner (on the top of my eye) too much makeup for school?

im going back to school and i was wondering if wearing that would be considered to much makeup. no eyeshadow, or mascara.

maybe some lipgloss if i feel like it.

    im 14.

is it too much?Is wearing liquid eyeliner (on the top of my eye) too much makeup for school?
no...not at allIs wearing liquid eyeliner (on the top of my eye) too much makeup for school?
Not at all! Just don't line to thick, but I really do recommend wearing mascara to complete the look. Mascara will open your eyes, and make you look more awake, and for school you want that, because I don't really bother with eyeliner, I just apply mascara and I'm done, because if I don't I'll look really tired.
no i dont think so, ive worn it every day since the start of year nine, and all through year ten and my school is very strict. as long as its not winged out to your eyebrows and super thick it should be fine. just tone down the rest of your makeup aswell :)
Nope. Thats actually a big plus in my school. Alot of girls wear it here. Just on the top and then pencil on the bottom. I have a friend that does that, with black eyeshadow. And then sparkles around the eyes with lipgloss. She is so pretty!
    That is nothing... :)

I used to wear kohl pencil eyeliner, only on the top lids, but i actually found that that was more dramatic than a thin liquid line because the pencil smudged on my tiny asian eye crease :(. Make sure that the line is very close to the lashline and very smooth and even, bascially just tryng to fill in the gaps between each lash. Takes some practise, but you'll get there! Wear lipgloss and mascara too if you like, thats what i wear :)
no, but only if u make sure it is a nice thin, natural line. thick is too much (for school).

and lip gloss only would be nice with it, but i would recommend some mascara to go with it as well though... because if you are taking all that time with eyeliner and stuff, u might as well use mascara which is the ultimate basic. just use a natural looking black/brown mascara for school. i use l'oreal bare naturale in black/brown. its really good!

    hope this helps,

    olivia
    nope..

just dont do it too think your only 14 let it enhance your beuty

its made to make your eyelashes look fuller.

so make it to wear it looks natural.!

also try mascara a natural looking but makes ur eyes pop mascara like covergirl exact eyelights or loreal telescopic!
    Oh, not even close!

Make sure you can apply the liner properly or else don't wear it at all. A little mascara is okay but if you don't want to use that yet then curling your lashes will give more of a pop!

    Keep lips moisturized with chapstick.
    oh god no :D
stfu really eyeliner too much get the **** out of here GROW UP and ask a real question
I think it would be too much to wear it alone, like without mascara, it looks to harsh, but with just a touch of mascara I think it's fine ^_^
No, if you are wearing a good foundation, it should give you a nice and healthy look-
    Not at all!
no i think thats fine just dont make your eyes look like a raccoon :)
It sounds ok, just put a thin line and only on the top.

Also, son't do bright colored lipgloss. Natural make up is prettier.
It is NOT too much. I would even call it very minimal.
No, it should be fine. Just keep it light or you can just to a thin line. Play around with winging out your eyeliner a little to make it cute and playful. Hope this helps and good luck!
thats is so nOT too much!! u will look fine, dont put it on TOO thick, and maybe evn try eyeliner pencil for a softer look. its okay if u try eyeshadow. do go with lip gloss. then u'll be perfect. do wat u think is best for u and experiment on yourself before school starts so u know whicj look(s) suit u and fit u best!!!!
I don't think it's too much. LOL. I wear more than that on a daily basis.

    You're fine!
no, it wouldnt be a lot. just dont put it on too thick.
no it's fine just not too thick
nope not if you just do a thin line
girl, its just ONE makeup product youre wearing on a daily basis. not 10.

    :)
Usually not, and even with eyeshadow and mascara, if done tastefully it's fine. I'm sure it looks lovely (:
it depends on how thick u apply it if u wear too much yes but if u wear a nice thin line of it it will look goooooooood
absolutely not as long as u don't put it on too thick
no just make sure you dont put it on TOO thick !!!
noooo! i wear it with mascara and it looks fine, as long as you dont put tooo thick of a line on!
no, im 15 and i do it. but the trick is, make the eyeliner as thin as possible. it will still be noticable, but it wont be too overbearing or too heavy.
Liquid eye liner is too much for day.

The only time a girl needs that much make-up is if she's on a stage, hon.

How to remove liquid makeup (foundation) from carpet?

My 2 year old son got into my makeup and got a pretty big spot of liquid foundation makeup on my cream carpet. I have a Bissell Power Heat steam cleaner and instantly grabbed it, and ran over the spot, and even used the hose attachment, but it did not get any of the spot up. Any suggestions on how to get it up? Thanks! How to remove liquid makeup (foundation) from carpet?
~~Actually, I have used Dove hand soap (any brand should work). Just rub the soap on a wet cloth and wash it out. Then rinse well. Actually your steamer will get it up after you break it down with the soap.~~How to remove liquid makeup (foundation) from carpet?
Cosmetics can include makeup, mascara, lipsticks, lotions and creams. Mostly they are pigments in dyes, fats, waxes and oils.

    1. Scrape off excess (using a dull edge tool) and apply POG* remover, blot.

    2. Apply dry cleaning solvent, blot.

    3. Apply detergent solution, blot.

    4. Apply ammonia solution, blot.

    5. Apply vinegar solution, blot.

    6. Apply pressure to the spot with a spatula or the back of a tablespoon to work spotting solution deep into spot. DO NOT SCRUB as this may cause nap distortion of the fiber.

    7. Rinse with water, blot until dry.
Maybe you could try makeup remover.
you know baby wipes get everything out
A washing tablet in hot water , will remove it

i have discolouration on my upper lip because i have lots of peach fuzz.

i cant bleach (itd show ),cant get laser, and dont want to deal with going back to waxing every couple of weeks, waiting for the hair to grow.

i also dont want to pluck.

does threading work even on really small hairs?

anyyways my main question: would covergirl liquid makeup cover work well for the upper lip? i dont know much about makeup at all.

your help would be really appreciated, thanks!Covergirl liquid makeup cover for upper lip?
you cant use makeup on hair.

use at home facial hair remover. my mom uses one by nair. it smells but you dont have to use that frequently.

Covergirl liquid makeup cover for upper lip?
Yes but makeup on the upper lip when there's hair makes it even more discolored.

Liquid Makeup Vs. Bare Minerals? (10 PTS)?

Okay, this question may be long so bare with me peoples [: Alright so im 13 and i already wear makeup (and please don't tell me im too young because i get that alot and i don't care!) I wear Cover girl True Blend Liquid Makeup, and i don't like it because, One: it dries to a cakey finish, Two: It makes my skin oily, Three: Its just plain terrible. So i wanna have more of a natural look, but not TOO natural. I wanna look like i have makeup on, but not too much. And i wanna look natural, but not so natural that it looks like i DONT have any on.

So i was thinking on buying some Bare Minerals Makeup because i heard its natural, lightweight, and it makes your skin non oily ! I also wanted to wear some peachy blush, do they make that in minerals too? Should i moisterize before i put my makeup on? And lastly :)What brand-name would be the best? (Please no MAC, i have had problems with them.) THANK YOU :)Liquid Makeup Vs. Bare Minerals? (10 PTS)?
first, it's great to hear of some one so young not wanting to wear too much makeup, to actually Want to look natural! I see so many girls who start out wearing SO much and it looks so silly!

second, i am a fan of loreal bare minerals makeup. it is wonderful. light, and natural. with it, you can look natural, and if you want a little extra something, add eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick...as for mosterizing, i always mosterize, but am much older than you, so that depends on your skin type. but, i put on moisterizer, wait a bit, then put the mineral makeup on. they do have peachy blush and all the colors you'd want.

hope this helps and have fun with it!Liquid Makeup Vs. Bare Minerals? (10 PTS)?
I think you should try the Maybelline Mineral Powder. It is realllyyy nice. i use it and i love it. It is not cakey like a lot of make-up but it has a nice finish to it so it looks natural but not too natural. They also sell blush in all different shades.

Here is a pic of it.. hope i could help!

    http://color.delush.com/maybellineminpow鈥?/a>
Well, Bare Minerals has a point on the negative side for me because their lightest shade is too dark for me. It is lightweight, but I would recommend trying Physicians Formula Mineral Wear (the loose powder, the blush, and the finishing powder are all really good) before splurging on Bare Minerals.

If you want a liquid makeup, I like L'Oreal True Match and Maybelline Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Liquid Makeup.

I agree with you, CG TruBlend is disgusting. A friend of mine used the old formula on me and it was nice, though (it wasn't even my shade, and it looked good). Shame they changed it.
I LOVE Bare Minerals and have been using it since 2005. I've never had a problem with it and it doesn't look cakey at all.. it gives you a very flawless airbrushed kinda look.

For Blush... try NARS Orgasam. It's a very nice peachy pink color and was voted best blush by Sephoras and Allure magazine. Go to Makeupalley.com to see the reviews. Since you are so young I'd say stay away from liquid foundations if you can... Bare minerals is better for your skin and it will look more natural.

I always moisterize before I put on my makeup... helps set it better!!
Ok, Bare Minerals is very popular out there today. What you heard is true. But, if you're using liquid makeup, it tends to make your face oily. That's why most women use a powder on top of it. But, powders tend to feel heavy, or dry your face out, or make them look dry. So, I recommend you use Makeup Forever's (at Sephora.com) HD powder. It's a white powder, but its translucent, any skin tone can wear this. It's so light weight, it smokes up when you put your brush in it. Its really good. Feels so smooth on your face, doesn't look thick. And, its the only powder that can match your liquid makeup perfectly, so, no makeup lines. Its really worth the money. Yes, you should use some kind of moiserizer. It also helps keep your makeup on throughout the day.

    Liquid makeup for DRY skin?

I am on a search for the perfect liquid base makeup for my mother. I am open to suggestions to making my own concotion or moisturizers to use before the makeup. Preferably something reasonably priced!

She has EXTREMELY dry skin due to her skin diseases; Lupus, Sjogrens, Skin Cancer and Pustular Psoriasis. Luckily, she is not allergic and not sensitive to any products so far!

We've tried many brands that claim they 'hydrate' better than the others. We've even tried the really expense stuff like Dior and Estee Lauder.

After about 4 hours, all of them start clumping, caking and flaking off.

She has used many moisturizers and repair serums. She even uses gentle exfoliators.

Any help is welcomed!Liquid makeup for DRY skin?
    Amanda,

I use a liquid foundation called Moisturize from Coonobabe.

Like your mother I also have dry skin, and it stays on all day long. Hope this helps you. Google CoonobabeLiquid makeup for DRY skin?
try a mousse foundation, rather than liquid. also, use a really heavy moisturizer underneath AND an oily primer (such as Smashbox's Photo Finish) as a base. I hope this helps! Best of luck

Do u wear bare mineral makeup over liquid foundation?

is it good to do that? or is it good if u just wear bare mineral makeup? do u prefer bare mineral makeup or liquid foundation or bare mineral over liquid foundation?

thank youDo u wear bare mineral makeup over liquid foundation?
i love the mineral veil! i'll wear it over tinted moisturizer on days that i am in a rush.

if you need that much coverage and it doesn't look bad, why not? if you don't need that much coverage, don't waste your money on extra makeup when you don't need it.

i like powders, i think they are easier to blend, but i realize the liquid lasts longer, but that's different for everyone's skin and personal preferences. anymore, i only use mineral makeup. it contains a natural sunscreen and is gentle on my sensitive skin.Do u wear bare mineral makeup over liquid foundation?
Try using a tinted moisturiser if you find your not getting enough coverage, its what I do

I use the tinted moisturiser, a bit of concealer under my eyes and then wait until it dries as much as possible and then sweep a bit of the mineral foundation over the top.

    Voila, perfect coverage :)
You shouldn't need to use both, I suggest using a bit of moisturizer, letting it soak in and then only using the bare minerals, it should offer you enough cover. If you need to you can use a liquid concealer for spots.
I only wear the mineral makeup when i'm in a rush, it makes my face look cakey..

but usually I only wear the liquid foundation, it works well for me, I prefer it over powder makeup.

    xxoo
you shouldnt need to use both

it depends what type of skin type you have

i would go for mineral makeup

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
i wear bare minerals and i love it...doesnt make me break out and it feels lighter and works well..expensive tho but they have lots of alternatives that are mineral foundations that work jsut as well
Bare Minerals is the worst product you could ever put on your face the high bismuth content will clog pores and cause severe breakouts.

  • What is the best ';Liquid Concealer/Cover Up'; Makeup?

It all depends what its to cover up but Mac do a great liquid concealer and also a body make-up if the blemish is on the body.

Failing that YSL Touche Eclat is the best concealer for dark eye circles etc.

If you are looking for something thicker, Max faxtor do a great one.

I hope that helps. What is the best ';Liquid Concealer/Cover Up'; Makeup?
I love Mac, It's pricey but it works great and lasts a long time because you need to use as much!!What is the best ';Liquid Concealer/Cover Up'; Makeup?
I use Cover Girl foundation with matching powder and it works great and makes my skin look flawless. Good luck!
Napoleon Perdis have a great selection of makeup, its a little expensive but lasts long and covers well.
If you decide to go with the Cover Girl as someone suggested, you should check out freegirlystuff.com where you can get it at a big discount. That way you're not out a lot of money if you find it isn't right for you.
Max Factors concealer stick has been used throughout Hollywood on major films for decades, it is easy to use, great coverage and inexpensive- I use it a lot!
    cover girl
As mentioned before Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Radiance makeup is great for highlighting and covering up blemishes, imperfections, and undereye darkness and puffiness.

Chanel also does great cover sticks that come in a lip gloss like container. A bit more pricey, but always look for quality and effectivness in your makeup. The best advice my grandmother ever gave me was to take care of your skin, no matter the cost.

    Good luck!
I really like Loreal colour match for face and concealer. Or the Revlon Colour match powder is pretty good too.

Best makeup brush for liquid foundation?

What is the best makeup brush for liquid foundation? Something actually good in quality. Preferably one I can find in a Sephora, Macy's or Nordstrom. Thanks for the help!Best makeup brush for liquid foundation?
I use the MAC #187 and #188. The 188 is smaller and costs less, it has more precision. The 187 is bigger and covers more. These brushes use up less makeup than other foundation brushes. I also like MAC #190. It uses up more makeup because it absorbs more makeup but it covers well. All MAC brushes are worth the money and you can't go wrong with them. Also check on www.makeupalley.com for user reviews!Best makeup brush for liquid foundation?
Hi, I used always use the Benefit Foundation Brush ($20) which was really nice, but I bought the MAC 190 ($32) a few months ago %26amp; I way prefer it.

I think if you go to any of the top brands, you're sure to find a good foundation brush. Why not chat to an assistant in Sephora, Macy's or Nordstroms and tell them what foundation type you use, your own skin type %26amp; they'll help choose the perfect brush for you.
    I use MAC 190-Foundation Brush.

I love it! After your finished applying your foundation, it looks like a pro did it! Your skin will look beautiful and finished. (you don't want those clumps....ick lol) This brush works with any foundation you'd like. All you do to use it is dip it in the liquid foundation then blend it on the face. Simple!

This product is $32 and worth it

I hope you like this product just as much as I did. =]
Never use a sponge!!! it soaks up 1/3 of your makeup and bacteria grows in wet places... like a wet makeup sponge and you spread it all over your face causing your skin to break out. I use Mac. If your take care of them properly they will last you forever. Don't forget to clean them.

    Good luck

    Sandra
The Body Shop foundation brush. Its better than anything out there because its synthetic nylon and is not porous at all, so bacteria will not thrive on it. Its $20. A famous international celebrity makeup artist uses only our brushes and has turned many many of his clients onto our brushes.
The 187 Duo Fibre Brush from MAC. It gives ur face a flawless airbrushed finish. It's worth the money. It's a very popular brush and for good reason. MAC has other foundation brushes but this one is worth looking into.
I use the MAC foundation brush, and find it very good. But with any foundation brush, I think you still need to do a bit of blending yourself with your fingers to ensure a seamless finish.
Bobbi Brown.. Mac is not too bad but i prefer Bobbi Brown or there's the YSL foundation that comes with the brush
Use a sponge for liquid foundation.
i heard mac is good.:) it should be flat and a little pointed to the tip.

Okay, I luv to put on makeup. What goes on first concealer or liquid foundation? Help?

I know how to put makeup on myself. The only thing I would like to know what goes on first concealer or liquid foundation? I know the pressed powder comes in last. Please help?Okay, I luv to put on makeup. What goes on first concealer or liquid foundation? Help?
    liquid foundation first.

no point concealing all the spots and then applying liquid foundation to ruin the well-blended areas.

then apply pressed powder, or brush on loose powder in a downwards motion to set the foundation.Okay, I luv to put on makeup. What goes on first concealer or liquid foundation? Help?
Concealer on problem areas.... then foundation to give it the smooth look... before even concealer...u should always put some moisturizer...and even better would be a moisturizer that has a little bit of SPF to protect ur skin! The more you protect ur skin, the less concealer and/or foundation you will need!
Definately the liquid foundation. All around.
put on the conceler first what the conceler dose is cover up any blemishes or zits u have and then the liquid stuff seals it. and plus if you put the powered conceler on last it would make the foundation powery and it wouldnt look right. u have to look good for the guys!
definately concealor first on things like pimples, and underneath your eyes, then you apply foundation all over your face, then eyes, then lips
    Well, I've read different answers.

I can just give you my view of this.

First put on the concealer, you use this to hide or conceal tough spots on your face, like; redness, dark circles beneath your eyes, ... . It doesn't go on your entire face. Just those areas that you need it in.

Then apply the foundation. Either liquid or pressed powder. Don't use both, as they do the same thing, give you an overal colour and finish. Use what you feel comfortable with.

After that, put on the rest of the make up, eyes, blush, lips and loose powder to finish off your make up. And the very last thing you do, is put on your mascara.

Have a play around, never get your make up right on one try, and dispite what people say, we do practise putting on make up. Practise makes perfect.

    Good luck.
if you are trying to cover imperfections, do concealer first. if you are hiding redness, do foundation first and then if it isnt blending together, add some lotion on top. be sure you let the liquids dry first befroe the powder!
Concealer goes on before the foundation. And eye make-up always comes last.
i went to professional makeup training, and it's conclealer first.
    concealer goes first
    def concealer first
Ummmm ... duhhhh lets think ..................

    liquid foundation !!

... whats the point of point of concealer if you are going over it ?
I use concealer first then my foundation!
You should use concealer first to cover any redness or uneven skin tone (like undereyes). Then put liquid foundation. After foundation, apply spot concealer to any blemishes etc to cover up spots. The reason you put this on after, is because applying the foundation can remove the concealer. Putting it on spots after foundation provides better coverage.
Foundation should go on first, new development in makeup artistry. When concealer goes on first it's often rubbed off or looks cakey.
I always use the concealer first! it makes your face look more smooth
Do you really need concealer AND foundation?

Usually a little dab of concealer if you have any dark spots and go very light on the foundation will do the trick.

If you have nice skin, which I assume that you do, you probably do not need all that makeup.
the liquid foundation always goes on before the concealer, especially if you're using a liquid foundation, it definitely goes on smoother and your skin appears clearer
Concealer first, then foundation. Otherwise, you end up with an uneven tone.
i think liquid foundation comes first

I recommend Moisturize from Coonobabe what I use (normal/dry skin), but if you have oily use their Savila base.

I then top it off with their happy ending powder. This combination gives me about 6-8 hrs.

I hope this helps you as it did for me

    Google Coonobabe

btw: they ship 4 free, don't test on animals, and made inUSA
Maybelline Pure makeup is amazing. It's the only foundation I would ever buy from a drug store brand. It's made out of 50% water, so it doesn't clog your pores. It also has really good coverage. Want to see what it looks like on me? (I have acne scars) and it covers them completely. It's also really cheap. Depending on where you go, you can get it from $5 to $8

    http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_uNCSjHbM73M/Sm鈥?/a>
u should google Dinair Airbrush Makeup...it amazing...it covers everything and makes my skin look flawless but it never gets cakey cause it all water based..so its not bad for ur skin cause it doesnt clog ur pores...it covers everything and makes my skin look flawless...anywho, hope i helped...=)
The mouse kind. It works so great. But if you want that look of a celebrity. Put the foundation on first and then put a darker shade of powser foundation over it, but only a lil bit of powder.
i use true blend by covergirl and maybelline dreasm matte preesed powder and it gives you full coverage . you look like you have perfect skin , and i dont have perfect skin.,.......... try it
Try Clinique Superfit. It's amazing! It stays on all day, and it doesn't exaggerate pores. It's worth the money!!

The mu companies should not call their foundations waterproof but this could be water resistant. But why would you spend so much money on a product like this versus the new Maybelline Super Stay foundation. Maybelline's lasts over 24 hours and resists humidity and sweat like no tomorrow-

You can more or less make it out, but here is a pic of me(on the right) and my friend with our eyeliner. I wear mine like this all the time : ) Its all done with liquid eyeliner, pencil eyeliner on the waterline and no11 barry m dazzal dust over the top of the liquid eyeliner on the bottom lid to soften the look and give a wee bit of sparkle and smokey effect! Hope I helped!

    Can I make liquid makeup...?

By mixing powder makeup (a lot of it) with cream (oil-free) and will it give me good coverage? Can I make liquid makeup...?
yes you can do that with lotions and press powder also. Can I make liquid makeup...?
I am pretty sure it would! I have never tried it. What you could do is apply a lotion or foundation, then add a powder cover-up, I am pretty sure it would be nice!

    Good Luck!
try applying the cream foundation first and then setting it with powder. that way you wont have a mess from mixing and you get long lasting coverage.
wow. i never knew you could make liquid makeup from powdered makeup. thanks for the info guys.

    Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup..?

Has anyone used this? The new one in the cylinder bottle.. If you have used it do you like it, recommend it? Also, if you have used mac and/or revlon colorstay as well as the Neutrogena one could you please tell me your shade that you use for all of them? As i am from the UK and i would need to order it online so i cant test it out! Thanks in advance.Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup..?
I've wore revlon colorstay for many years but it's a pain because it's not one of those foundations that you can put on when you're in a rush. The neutrogena healthy skin is a lot more liquidy so it's a lot easier to apply and blend.Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup..?
    Use maybelines new colorstay!!

Hopefully its out in the UK .. im not to sure.

    its REALLY good though ,

sweat proof , heat and humidity proof , oil free, non pore clogging , non resistant (doesnt wear off on clothes) and stays on 24 hrs! (well .. close to it !)

    i recommend it!

i havent tried this stuff though ,sorry

Will makeup liquid foundation cover these several pimples on the side of my face????

some are small and others are medium sizes. thanks, god bless everyone. Will makeup liquid foundation cover these several pimples on the side of my face????
I think it will. Use concealer first though.

JWill makeup liquid foundation cover these several pimples on the side of my face????
Find a person that sells Mary Kay Cosmetics.. many women in the US sell it.. They make a fabulous cover-up that's not liquid or powder.. but pretty much in between... It covers most blemishes, but still looks natural and smooth.

Just make sure to wash off any makeup before you go to bed because it really clogs pores.
In my opinion I think that liquid foundation is a waste of money because it doesn't work!!! If you are really dark it doesn't work on you either. It only mactes celebrtiy skin.
You will need to dab concealer on first, esp. if your foundation is light weight. Don't use a foundation with oil or silicone in it. Your concealer should be dabbed on with a sponge as, should the foundation. Some people recommend using a green color to counter-act the redness of the pimple. Always set your foundation with a light, translucent powder.

Personally, I like Bare Escentuals. It is light, 15 spf and wears all day.

    Good Luck!
Depending on the size the foundation will smooth out the pimples. Every morning it amazes me how smooth my face looks after I've put my foundation on. I like to use Almay clear complexion makeup. It has cut down on the pimples on my face. Be careful though because the more you try and dry out your face the more your pores will try and compensate for the dryness, and your face will become more oily.
I think you should try to treat the problem first. Get a acne wash and some overnight treatment to get rid of those pimples...as gross as it sounds...crack an egg in half beat it with a fork and spread it on your face for ten minutes...wash with cleanser and then put your treatment on....MAC is a pretty good foundation that will cover up anything...Good Luck!
Yes, it will. And then as they day gos on it dries up and sometimes flakes or looks obvious that you put foundation on to hind your pimples. So use powder, i do!

    God bless you to.
I don't like liquid foundation personally. It tends to get cakey. Try a mineral foundation. It looks much more natural and I think you'll like it better. Or if your pimples are in a small area, just use concelar on them and either use the mineral foundation, or try a tinted moisturizer.
It depends on how raised they are. If they are low small, you should have no problem. If they are raised and very red, you need to do a layer of powder foundation first. The powder will help the liquid stick and look more even. Apply the liquid in verrrry small amounts dabbing it on with your finger, on the zits first. Most liquids need to dry for a few seconds. When it's dryed a little, start to spred out the liquid and cover from there. Hope this helps. It's worked for me and I used to have really bad pimples a few years ago. Good luck!
EMAHGAWD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT!!!! repeat DO NOT EVER use liquid foundation. I used it for the longest time, and i kept getting more pimples, and worse breakouts and acme. DO NOT USE IT!!!!!!!!! plz, 4 ur sake use powder, or mineral.... it helped me. and was your face EVERY night, and mornings if u can!!!

    -hoped I helped

    -good luck

don't use a liquid. use powdered.

    Liquid makeup .. stage makeup?

Anybody know what it is or what it's used for, general info?Liquid makeup .. stage makeup?
Stage makeup isn't usually liquid foundation because the idea is that it stops your face being greasy and reflecting the lights.

They usually use eye make up and lots of blusher so you don't look pale and washed out by the lights.Liquid makeup .. stage makeup?
The purpose of stage makeup is to make your face stand out against the harsh lights of the stage.

Mostly, now, people wear eye makeup, and blush, because base- Liquid makeup is hard to match to something near the actor's natural skin tone.

The real purpose is just to make the face stand out, and it doesn't matter whether or not it actually looks normal.

I hope I actually managed to explain it to you!

bonne chance, best of luck, break a leg!

  • Powder makeup (foundation) or Liquid makeup? what is the difference?

what is better and what is different between this

    http://www.sephora.com/assets/dyn/produc鈥?/a>

    and this

    http://shop.avon.com/shop/assets/images/鈥?/a>

and is powder and makeup powder different

and also I apply blush after powder makeup?

Those are my 3questionss, plz answer ant TNX!Powder makeup (foundation) or Liquid makeup? what is the difference?
1st picture: it is a compact pressed powder. take wear ever you want to do touch up on your face. pressed powder is usually less heavy and and buildable.

2nd picture: it is a foundation, but it looks like a mouse kind. foundation is weared before your loose powder. Loose powder is to set your foundation and do not cause oily skin throughout the day. Loose powder can come in color of your skin or tanslutant (no color). anyway, that foundation looks like a mouse. mouse foundation are usually for oily skin/acne (matt finish (smooth)) and liquid are for dry/combination skin.

Both are good. But it just depends how natural you want. MAC sell really good cosmetics, it is expensive.

After you apply everything, foundation and loose powder, you apply blush.

HTHPowder makeup (foundation) or Liquid makeup? what is the difference?
    1. powder is less coverage in my opinion and liquid is more coverage (i love liquid)

and is powder and makeup powder different

and also I apply blush after powder makeup?

    Best Clinique liquid makeup?

something for combo skin.and oil freeBest Clinique liquid makeup?
Superbalanced is a great oil-free foundation by Clinique that works for all skin types. It offers medium coverage and a natural finish. I just got matched for it and I love it! Looks good and feels good and goes for about $19.50.Best Clinique liquid makeup?
liquid makeup always makes a ';line';. try the Bare Minerals!! I sure didn't think it would cover adequately (and I've got a lot I like to cover), but it works great!! -K
    I like City Base.

    Powder or liquid makeup?

which do u use?which works best?Powder or liquid makeup?
I use liquid makeup because it looks much prettier that is just my opinion you could try both and then see wich one you like better if you like both get both or one on one day and wear the other the next day.

    your welcomePowder or liquid makeup?
Both, when putting on the foundation put it on lightly but not much and then put on the powder to even it out.
a combo of both is the best as long as you don't use too much.
powder. liquid makeup looks cakey and doesnt blend well in my opinion.
You just gotta buy both and experiment.

    Truth is--%26gt;

IT IS REALLY IS A-L-L ABOUT YOUR SKIN TYPE

AND WHAT WORKS/LOOKS GREAT ON YOU!!
Hi, liquid makeup is the best, it doesn't block your pores like powder does, so your skin still breathes. I use it lightly, and make sure I blend it, you want a color thats closest to your natural skin tone, so you have a natural look. Always wash your face before going to bed, I also never use soap on my face. Hope this helps, good luck!!
i don't use make yet but , you should use powder it's healthier for your skin.
    powder over liquid makeup
You can use both. Be careful with the liquid though. If you cake it on it'll look terrible and it'll transfer real easy...like onto your clothes, other people's clothes when u hug them, etc. It's kinda messy too.

I used to use the liquid to cover the dark circles under my eyes and then smooth it all over with the powder. Now I just use Queen Latifah's line of Cover Girl make-up. I found my exact match in a powder and I don't need the liquid anymore.
Try puritycosmetics,co,uk. It is really good!
powder. liquid feels like a mask.
powder is better if you aren't very good at applying makeup because liquid can be messy, but the best thing do is put on liquid and then use powder to finish the look
I prefer just to use concealer with a pressed powder foundation.

Liquid make-up makes you feel all heavy, and it makes me feel like i'm wearing a mask.
theres this really great makeup my friend told me about, its a foundation type of makeup. its called max factor liquid to powder i believe. it comes in a black compact and it was only about $7 at walmart and its been the best one ive used so far. when its in the compact it looks like a really light cream eye shadow, and then it feels like powder on.
use the powder over the liquid

so it won't look shine or fake
i use liquid makeup but i been using for 7 years and now its drying my skin.
I use liquid with powder on top, usually. But liquid foundation looks more natural (unless you're using the ones that dry so quick that you don't have time to blend it in). powder can look cakey especially on pale skin, acne prone skin *it can collect around the pimples), if you have slight facial hair (powder grabs onto facial hair), and blackheads and large pores. But if you have practically clear skin and just a few medium pores that you needa cover, then powder or tinted moisturizer
