My friend wanted to borrow my foundation. I'm not HIV phobic (Re: understand if not sharing needles or sex, etc.). Will swim with HIV positive person, eat food they cooked, etc. But we rub makeup on our skin, near eyes (possible tear exposure), sweat from face, etc. So I wasn't sure if I should just buy new foundation, or if that was plain old phobic. If I share liquid makeup with someone who is HIV positive, can I get the virus?
You cannot catch the HIV virus from sharing makeup, or through any other every day sharing with a friend. I am sure that your friend is grateful for your support, so carry on behaving normally towards her.If I share liquid makeup with someone who is HIV positive, can I get the virus?
well, it spreads throgh methods involving blood contact be it sex or any body contact....so, there is a little chance, that if she applied it on open wounds on her face and then it was used by you, u may get her blood and also HIV!!
You can't be infected by sharing her makeup.
You'd be the first, sweetie.
