How often should you change the sponges used for liquid makeup?

Sponges are very inexpensive and your local drugstore sells disposable versions. My theory has always been...';A cosmetic sponge has two sides. Therefore it can only be used twice.';

every day..don't use the one it comes with, just go and buy a pack of sponges..they are cheap and you can change it everyday
Frequently, but you can also wash the sponge. I wash mine almost every day. You can squeeze them dry with a towel.
I change my sponge pretty often just so i know i am not putting on old clumps of foundation. So i would suggest every three days.

I would use disposable sponges and dispose after one use. If you keep them around you are putting previous bacteria, etc. on to your skin and then there is a better chance of contaminating your foundation from double dipping.
i use a new sponge every day. they are cheap and disposable. why would you want to try to put on makeup with yesterdays or the day befores dried out remnants on it???? ewwwwwwwwwwww. gross. sorry but it is. use a new one everyday.
