I use a liquid foundation and a translucent powder over it.Which makeup do you recommend, liquid or powder?
The one that has the best coverage. I use liquid and powder on top, but I used to have this cool makeup in a tube that was like a cream and I didn't have to use the powder with it. Just depends on the coverage you want.Which makeup do you recommend, liquid or powder?
Liquid -Elizabeth Arden
Depends on the look you are trying to acheive. I used tinted moisturizer for years, but here in AZ, it's too hot to do that, so I switched to using concealer and bare essentuals powder over it.
The tinted moisturizer doesn't provide alot of coverage. You can get liquids in various degrees of coverage and finishes. I suggest if you go with liquid, you put it on with a damp sponge to even out the coverage.
powder is more good for my skin!
but sometimes liquid answeres better!
powdeer
depends on your skin type; if you've got oily try mineral makeup (afterglowcosmetics) its amazing..if you have dry, then a liquid would be more suited for you, or tinted moisturzer (like vichy)

BARE MINERALS!!
MAC
it麓s going to be like 60 dollars and up ...Helena Rubinstein, Mac, Lancome, Dior
Revlon Colourstay
Mary Kay is the best.
I have both types also and I just use plain old Cover-Girl liquid foundation-lite amt.(cheap) but I also use Clinique Double-Powder face powder compact to control oil (not so cheap). Keep in mind i'm not a girly-girl so theres probably better advice out there. In fact, I will listen also!..........Glad I'm paying attention!! Thanks!!

Definately NOT covergirl
I read in a physician's book that
covergirl has NOT changed their formulas since they started.
The best make-up in the world today is Mary Kay. When you put all the steps of Mary Kay make-up on you won't even feel it on your face and you will look natural. Mary Kay has make-up for any foundation and skin type. There product is all hyper-allergenic. Here is my daughters Mary Kay address:rdaniels9@marykay.com
Her name is Rachel and she can become your personal Mary Kay consultant, And she is great, not just because she is my daughter.
well I have the same kind of skin as you do and some of the things that work best for me is Igia foudation you can buy it on igia.com and what i am using currently is dream matte mousse by maybelline and it's really light and not cakey and it blends very well! then i think that covergirl clean makeup oil reduceing liquid foundation is pretty good too! and my favorite pressed powder is rimmel stay matte I think it would be pretty good for your type of skin!
Mary Kay
Sheer Cover mineral foundation or Neutrogena mineral foundation. These give great coverage, but they are very light and never oily. Love them!!
I do have to agree with caribbeanbabe that Guerlain is wonderful. I don't necessarily love their foundation, but their mascara, eye shadow, blush, highlighting powder, etc., is fabulous!
Try the products at The Body Shop
Lancome has great liquid foundation, especially the color ID foundation, it matches exactly your skin tone
almay is hypoalergenic, which is for sesitive skin, i think it would work for you, or you can always try the l'oreal stuff which is just as good.

It's 3oz of liquid on planes right? Just need to know if they will take sink care creams away from someone too.Are Creams (ex. hand cream or Makeup creams) Consider liquid on an airplane?
Yes, they are considered liquid. Any creams, gels or liquids are not allowed unless they can all fit together in a sandwich sized Ziploc bag. And you are only allowed one Ziploc per person.

Do any mineral makeup brands have a liquid foundation? If so, what brand?
GloMinerals makes fabulous liquid foundations. It comes in sheer all the way to full coverage formulas. It's carried at beauty supply stores and at doctors offices. Once you find the colors for you, you can find it on EBay at great prices.Do any mineral makeup brands have a liquid foundation? If so, what brand?
I read that Mac has is a good mineral make up. I havent yet given a try, but I will soon.Do any mineral makeup brands have a liquid foundation? If so, what brand?
i think physicians formula does. you can get it at walmart, kmart, stores like that.
I'm not sure what mineral makeup brands have liquid foundations (I know I've seen them, I just can't think of the brands); however, you can create your own liquid foundation by mixing any brand of powder mineral makeup with your favorite moisturizer! A Google search for ';liquid mineral foundation'; will also yield some results for you.
Raesin Images has a new liquid mineral makeup. Their website is www.raesinimages.com.
Illuminaire also makes a liquid mineral makeup, which they say (probably truthfully) is the first liquid mineral makeup in the world.
I've used both and love the Illuminaire Ultimate Formula foundation. It is the greatest EVER!!! Their website is www.illuminaire.com

Does anyone know any good makeup liquid foundation for under 10 dollars?
I have pretty much dry skin AND oily skin..it varies...
so i'm trying to buy a good foundation to even out my skin. Does anyone know a good brand with a reasonable price?? (my spending limit is 10 dollars but idealy lower.
the foundation i'm looking to buy shouldn't cause me to breakout..but I want it to last and not melt for 6 or so hours when I wear it..
..i'm open to any suggestions...so thank you to whoever answers!!!Does anyone know any good makeup liquid foundation for under 10 dollars?
revlon they do really good ones....good shade spectrum. Has SPF, doesnt last all day so you might have to reapply, i would put your own moisturiser on first and then some of the revlon foundation to prevent your skin drying out especially around the ey and nose area. Maybeline too but not great selection of shadesDoes anyone know any good makeup liquid foundation for under 10 dollars?
Covergirl one is good its like 10 or 11 dollars
maybeline dream mattee mousse foundation is good for $20 u wont really get a good one for 10
just get two more dollars
its worth is
covergirl trublend foundation :)
its worth $12
Sorry that I have no idea the exact names of them but look at Target:
They have
Loreal
Cover Girl
and so much more even professional products all for under $10!
e.l.f has mineral makeup for just $5! I've tried it and it actually works well! www.eyelipsface.com!

Question on face makeup..liquid or powder or both?
ok well first of all im a guy and yes i do wear face makeup just to cover up my blemishes. that being said im looking for something that looks natural and not overboard or cakey or anythin like that. currently ive been using regular loreal true match liquid and powder foundation and i think it just looks like toooooo much. not to mention it can make my face breakout at times. So im looking to improve that and hopefully find something that i can use less of and just get the coverage i need. i think im gonna buy a designer makeup either chanel dior or mac because i heard its the best. im just wondering what i should get. any specific products? Do i need to get liquid foundation and powder or would one be enough if so which? keep in mind i dont want it too look like too much. but if you can help me at all...please do, im lost when it comes to what products to buy.. thanks.Question on face makeup..liquid or powder or both?
the foundation your using is perfectly fine, in fact it competes with the best designers as well, its probably how your applying it and the foundation your using is too thin for acne coverage and no matter what foundation you use it will always be noticeable. try a thicker formula or concealer and dust a powder over it with a powder brush (go to the art store and get a ';mop brush'; or go to the drugstore and get a powder brush), do not use a puff with powder, it will make it look heavy. on my clients i use a thick concealor than comes in a compact (revlon/neutrogena has one), stay away from the ones in sticks since it has ingredients that will make it worst.
mineral makeup is fine, but you have to apply a heavy amount to get good coverage, just apply a thicker formula only the the problemed areas and dust it with powderQuestion on face makeup..liquid or powder or both?
i use liquid only but it comes off easily...i would use both
I don't like liquid, because it sinks into your pores and creates pimple. Maybe that's just me, but I defitnately prefer the powder.
i would stick to just liquid b/c both gives that caked on look. the brand shoudnt matter too much if you match your skin tone right. i've always used cover girl. try mixing your foundation in the morning with a facial lotion and put it on that way (i always put about a dimes worth or less of foundation and a little less lotion and mix the two). it will cover well but it'll look lighter and less noticeable, plus your face will stay moisturized and your pores won't get as clogged! :)
um i use cover girl blemish hider called fresh complexion it's only about 5 dollaroos and is awesome i have very dry skin too and usually make up is cakey too but this one works pretty well for the price
well a lot of make up companies are coming out with the mineral coverage which is suppose to have great coverage and improves your skin while you wear it and it looks very natural and lets your skin breathe.
bear minerals
they are thee best
they look really natural on
it will probably help the break outs too
you can get it at ulta
i recommend you don't get the starter kit
because it comes with blush and bronzer...
something that i don't think you need
haha
Women can tell if a man is wearing makeup. Have you seen ever seen Zac Efron? I hope you dont wear as much as he does.

Do you think mineral makeup is better than liquid?
I have sensitive combination skin and it makes me itch and break out. The liquid is better for me.Do you think mineral makeup is better than liquid?
Mineral makeup is good for your skin. It only covers up what you want covered up without creating a mask. In the long run, it's healthier for your skin. It allows it to breath %26amp; it doesn't clog pores.
Liquid makeup creates a mask over your skin to make everyone one colour createing a cake like effect. It clogs up the pores %26amp; damages the skin with continued use.
:]Do you think mineral makeup is better than liquid?
liquid make-up has a lot of chemicals that are bad for your skin...
mineral make-up(completely different from bronzer) is always the best choise if you have any type of problem skin, dry, oily, acne, etc.
if you have good skin anyways it really just comes down to personal preference
as far as the look, mineral powders blend much better than liquids
YES! Definitely! I just switched to mineral makeup about two months ago, and my skin has been so clean and clear. I think it just gives you are smoother softer look. Plus, I think it blends better than any liquid makeup. You would still use any concealer, like under your eyes, and put the minerals on with a flat type foundation brush.
There are so many great brands out now. But I am using the brand Bella Terra. There is an identical brand Bella Pierre. You can find it rather cheap on ebay.
It depends on your body and how you respond to it. I've heard many women say that it makes them breakout. I use mineral, Studio Fix and liquid foundation and I like all three. Mineral makeup is advertised as natural, but it has preservatives just like all makeup. Check out makeupalley.com and look at the opinions from other women. It's a great site!
it depends...
for the face
use foundation then mineral makeup (bronzer) its great both ways!
Hope That Helps!
:)
yes because it doesnt clog into da pores like liquid..and it decreases da appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
mineral, yes
liquid is hard for people to find the right shade, sometimes
but it looks much natural
yes. its all natural and doesnt cake or give you a makeup line along your jaw and is better for oily skin.
